“My sister and I recently reserved the Glens Falls Tap Room for my parents surprise 50th anniversary party. We started planning over a year in advance and corresponded with Anne Barry and Torey. They were both amazing to deal with and made the planning process so seamless! Anne was beyond accommodating to any and all requests that we had. She even went as far as to block my parents from their facebook page so they would not see when Mean Max posted that they would be closed for a private party. Any questions we had were always answered thoroughly and promptly. There was a couple times where we stopped into the taproom and Torey was working. He was amazing in assisting us with any additional questions we had. We had a slide show on a usb cable that they happily projected on their wall in the taproom as well as on one of their tvs. The party went off without a hitch and we would most definitely recommend them to anyone looking to host an event. Our bartender, Christa, was beyond amazing and so friendly with everyone. She was beyond helpful with anything and everything we needed and our guests adored her! Overall we can't express enough how much Mean Max made our event perfect and catered to everything we asked. They are amazing to work with and did everything they could to make our event a success!!! We highly recommend them whether you're looking to reserve for a private party or just go and visit their taproom and have some amazing beers!!! Thank you to all the staff at Mean Max that made this party a success!!! We can't express how much we appreciate it!”

“Can’t recommend Roxy’s cakes enough!!! Roxy went above and beyond for our wedding to ensure the cake toppers we had already purchased would fit on top. She last minute changed from a 3 tier cake to a 2 tier cake to allow for a larger top so they would fit! The cake turned out so beautiful and was better than I had imagined. Roxy promptly responds to emails and is professional yet very personable. We loved working with Roxy and will be ordering again!”

“Best bacon deluxe burger at 9pm in town. The new renovation really made this a refreshing place that it needed. Very good. And I can get a choice of a potato salad on the side. Because deep fried food seed oils make my gal bladder hurt. Good options for that.”

“went over there recently, and the place was packed with people! our waitresses name was Tanya, and she was fabulous! our food and our drinks came in a timely manner, and she was wonderful to us. thanks for a great place!”

“Spent a lovely evening with host Cesaera (Che) and her staff. Made and ate a wonderful Indian dinner, complete with wine, hors d'oeuvres, and a brief break mid event to whip up a pitcher of mango lhassi! The Bourbon Room is closed to the public during these events, so the whole thing feels very private and luxurious. Cesaera had all the ingredients and equipment ready, so everything we needed was right at hand. Came home with a binder of the recipes used, so we can share what we learned with others. Great opportunity to learn new recipes and techniques, and to make new friends. Don't hesitate!”

“I have only dined at Rocco’s but one time, we didn’t have a reservation and they were able to seat the three of us which was very accommodating. It was a busy busy time since there was a game at the Civic Center across the street and every place was packed. The food was outstanding and I would recommend Rocco’s.”

“Nothing but good things to say about the Bullpen. The staff is great, and while the atmosphere can get a bit loud, it’s a sports bar, so that’s to be expected.

The food is where it really stands out. The nachos are incredible. Especially with the pulled pork, which is juicy and full of flavor. The Carolina sauce is unique, and adding banana peppers takes it to another level. Whether it’s a late-night druken bite or a casual sober get-together, they’re some of the best nachos around.

The fries are always crispy, my favorite are the sweet potato fries with melba sauce. The burgers are solid, but the wings are even better. I highly recommend the Kickin’ BBQ if you like them saucy and sticky.

Overall, it’s a 10/10 spot to hang out after a Thunder game… unless you’re not a fan of the local crowd.”

“Just tried Bowled for the first time (my daughter loves it). First few bites .. sooo good! They were so patient with me when I was taking a while to to order. I wasn’t indecisive. I was trying to roughly calculate carbs to be within my allowable grams per meal. It’s so mentally taxing to eat as a diabetic and I can tell when people get annoyed I’m taking a while to order. Lilly made me feel like it was okay and I can’t express how much I appreciated it!”
