“This place is the real deal. The grilled bread with the bruschetta and caprese salad has a great flair. The tomatos have some of the best flavor profile I've had. Definitely in the top two of all time. I had the cuppa de pesce for a main course. What a dish full of seafood. Again well cooked and the pasta was perfectly al-dente. They had a creme brulee cheesecake which turns out was a huge suprise. Just as it sounds, really good cheesecake with creme rules flavor and topping. Cant wait to go back again.“

“​I discovered the Gourmet Cafe on a quiet evening as the hostess was placing the menu board outside. The dining room was simple and unpretentious, giving off a pleasant, personal feel. The experience started with a warm welcome from the server, Mandy, who personally recommended a Pinot Grigio for my meal—a fantastic touch for someone exploring wine pairings.

​I ordered a half portion of the Penne alla vodka with chicken, which was generous enough to be a full meal. It arrived with perfectly toasted garlic bread and had a lovely aroma. The dish delivered on every level: the pasta had a great bite, the sauce was tangy (thanks to the sun-dried tomatoes) and creamy, and the chicken was incredibly tender. The owner's wine recommendation was spot on, as the Pinot Grigio enhanced the creaminess of the sauce beautifully.

​It was the kind of meal that makes you lean back in your seat to savor every bite. While a few stray flies were near my table by the door, it was a minor note in a delicious and pleasant experience. Learning it's a 'mom-and-pop' operation made perfect sense given the personal service and neighborhood feel. It’s a true gem.“

“I have only dined at Rocco’s but one time, we didn’t have a reservation and they were able to seat the three of us which was very accommodating. It was a busy busy time since there was a game at the Civic Center across the street and every place was packed. The food was outstanding and I would recommend Rocco’s.“

We came here for dinner after considering a lot of other options, we were pleasantly satisfied with the food quality and quantity and the overall service.
The minestrone soup and bottomless salad (unlimited refills) were good.
The pastas we ordered were decent and came in very large portions, we ended up packing some of it for the next day of our trip.

Sisi was a very friendly waitress.“

“I see this place an apology for NOT finding out sooner what I found out today! Excellent pizza and big beautiful perfect wings. My wife grew up in GF on Ridge St. and remembers Oma's and told me the story leading up to Mia...its weird we never connected with Mia! Today she and her Mom orders pizza and wings. Of course they ate like 1 slice and 2 wings so she called me and said got Mia's for you, you can't believe the crust and the wings are giant! She was not kidding. WOW - and I had just seen a reel on social of some dude going Portnoy at Mia and gave it a paltry 6.8...bollocks, I give them a still warm (wife said dont reheat the pizza for the original taste) - I give it a 9.9 combo wings and cheese pizza!!! I thought I could only get quality penne alla vodka when we visit family in Long Island but Stumpys impressed me so much, it’s probably the best I’ve ever had!!
