“If you haven't been to Davidson's in Glens Falls, do yourself a favor and go. STAT! The atmosphere, food, drinks, owner and staff are absolutely AMAZING. Not only is it a locally owned brewery with long-standing roots in the community, the owner puts an immense amount of pride and effort into the brewing process. It also feels like home by the way the staff greets each person and genuinely cares about the full experience for each patron. The food is out of this world with huge portion sizes and everything we had was so yummy! I can't speak more highly of them.“

Especially since our boys got to fish and swim while we ate and had a great time! Speaking of staff—the service was phenomenal. Madison our server was the absolutely best! “Really really great bruschetta, everything tasted fresh. Vodka sauce was so good, we ordered the penne 2 days in a row on vacation. They also sell Lion Farm Cookies at the checkout and those s’mores cookies were out of this world! The staff were all very friendly also. “As a former marine our crew stopped in on a wet Saturday during Americade , no clue about anything but they had slushies and beer. OMG!! The owners Chris and Heather were so personable and friendly. There knowledge of what they talked about was second to none . They made our group of 11 feel right home. The drinks and the drink names totally on point ! I had the pleasure of working with Michael for our shower, he made the experience very enjoyable and he checked in with me twice before the event to make sure we were all set. “Cute place to stop and have a beverage and wait for the steamboats . Wonderful view of the lake . Only thing is the post is misleading saying “Pet Policy: Located right on Beach Road, their shady, grassy lawn with picnic tables and elevated deck is fully open to furry children. They provide ice water bowls, toys, dog treats, and even puppy-safe ice cream”, none of this is true and dogs aren’t allowed on the deck even if they are leashed . We weren’t offered toys or treats or ice cream either LOL“

“The food is always spot on! We have come here for several years since our daughter lives in Lake George! She is just up the road and takes us 2 mins to coast down to them! Sometimes when we are in town we come multiple times because the food, atmosphere and the staff are so great!“

“ADK nachos were super good!! My husband got the steak and loved it. I did half a chicken with homemade bbq sauce, sweet potato fries and Mac n cheese. Chicken and fries were soooo good. I found the Mac n cheese to be bland but I think that’s the style if you were to pile on something bbq flavored then it would have been better. On its own it wasn’t my taste but everything else was very good. Can’t wait to go back next trip to Lake George!“

The service is always super quick and friendly. As for the food, it's mostly fried bar food. Chicken tenders are frozen out of box and so are the fries. I am not sure why cooks today don't want to serve hand cut fries. Lazy? I like the fried fish, but I doubt it's fresh fish and likely frozen too. Let's just say its location and views of the lake are what keep this place in business. That's why I go there when I am visiting the area. You don't really go here for the food and the culinary experience. Regardless, I will keep going there on sunny afternoons for lunch to take in some fresh Adirondack air off the lake and great views.“

Not a fancy place, but it fit our needs well for a family-friendly affordable place to eat quickly!“
