“We have just returned from a family gathering, with a large group of us staying at the Dorset Inn. We could not have been made more welcome by the staff! Each room is so unique and so very comfortable. Your morning breakfast options were just delicious. We loved sitting around the fireplace sharing laughs or playing games, and again, the staff were so helpful and friendly, checking to make sure we had what we needed. On our final night our group of 20 had the most amazing dinner - EVERYONE loved their choices for dinner and dessert. Thank you, Dorset Inn, for making our time there so very special!“

“Inviting, upbeat restaurant inside the Southern Vermont Arts Center and among the art itself. Fantastic food: beautifully prepared salmon and lentils, freshly tossed salad with grilled shrimp, grilled local artisan bread, and a light, but rich, fish chowder. Every dish was delicious and prepared with care. Bailey was an awesome server. We'll keep going back for the art on the walls and on the table.“

“Mistral's is the restaurant that my wife and I visit to treat ourselves to something rare and very special. It's tucked away off the main highway, on the side of a mountain, and built to follow the curve of the streamlet dancing alongside it. It just feels so special to walk in. We are always seated at a window looking across to the forest and down to the brook. It's magical, beautiful, artistic and so romantic. The wine list is perfectly selected to provide a carefree point of departure from ordinary life. The appetizers, the entrees, the deserts are always well prepared, pleasantly unassuming, thoughtfully presented, and a pleasure to enjoy. It's all just so lovely and comes complete with a staff that serves with dignity, competence and warmth. It's unlike any place else in an exceptionally good way. It's a treasure that we return to again and again.“

“We were on a foliage trip from Mass. Food and service were fantastic, especially being short staffed it appeared.
An emergency incident happened while we were there. The staff acted professionally and showed genuine care for the patron that experienced the episode. Even the people eating and standing by were actively trying to help. We hope the man will be OK. Otherwise We spent about 25$ per person and had a great time at a wonderful eatery. Highly recommend them.“

“Charlie's is the main reason we go to Manchester, VT from Albany, NY! The BEST sandwiches around (my favorite being the turkey BLT, hold the T!). Sandwiches are made fresh right then and there and are PACKED with deliciousness. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The place is very clean and it gives a very rustic, welcoming feel the moment you walk in. If you haven't been to this treasure, you're missing out!!!“
