“We have just returned from a family gathering, with a large group of us staying at the Dorset Inn. We could not have been made more welcome by the staff! Each room is so unique and so very comfortable. Your morning breakfast options were just delicious. We loved sitting around the fireplace sharing laughs or playing games, and again, the staff were so helpful and friendly, checking to make sure we had what we needed. On our final night our group of 20 had the most amazing dinner - EVERYONE loved their choices for dinner and dessert. Thank you, Dorset Inn, for making our time there so very special!“

“Not just does curATE cafe offer scenic dining overlooking the woods and the hills, but a walk to the bathroom through the adjacent galleries becomes a journey of art appreciation.

The dining patio is absolutely lovely, the food is quite good, and the grounds are spectacular.

“Mistral's is the restaurant that my wife and I visit to treat ourselves to something rare and very special. It's tucked away off the main highway, on the side of a mountain, and built to follow the curve of the streamlet dancing alongside it. It just feels so special to walk in. We are always seated at a window looking across to the forest and down to the brook. It's magical, beautiful, artistic and so romantic. The wine list is perfectly selected to provide a carefree point of departure from ordinary life. The appetizers, the entrees, the deserts are always well prepared, pleasantly unassuming, thoughtfully presented, and a pleasure to enjoy. It's all just so lovely and comes complete with a staff that serves with dignity, competence and warmth. It's unlike any place else in an exceptionally good way. It's a treasure that we return to again and again.“

Rainy day it’s the perfect place for a delicious soup - I loved that they made two choices and gave me a tasting plus a variety of sizes of soup container to order depending on your hunger level. And the “kids” half sandwich that you build out was perfect to split between my two young kids. I was impressed my kids stole most of my soup over their delicious sandwich! The half off day old pastries (I got a plain croissant that was still fluffy and soft) pair great with the meal.“

“Charlie's is the main reason we go to Manchester, VT from Albany, NY! The BEST sandwiches around (my favorite being the turkey BLT, hold the T!). Sandwiches are made fresh right then and there and are PACKED with deliciousness. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The place is very clean and it gives a very rustic, welcoming feel the moment you walk in. If you haven't been to this treasure, you're missing out!!!“
