About The Lobster Pot

The Lobster Pot is a seafood restaurant known for its mixed reputation, though recent reviews indicate improvements. While some aspects of the experience were enjoyable, others still did not meet expectations. The restaurant's aesthetic has been described as cluttered, with minimal decor, but it offers the option to eat outside or inside, enhancing the atmosphere. The food has received mixed reviews, with reports of overcooked seafood boils and portions that some found smaller than expected. However, the crab legs, lobster pot, and chowder have received excellent feedback. The bang bang shrimp and lobster tails are praised for their flavor, and the frozen punch remains a highlight. Some diners have mentioned the need for standard practices, such as providing lemons with meals and adequate butter and napkins. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating, contributing to an overall welcoming environment. The restaurant is dog-friendly and offers on-site parking, which is rare in Lake George. With a casual, nautical theme, The Lobster Pot is also kid-friendly and accessible for families. Overall, it remains a decent option for seafood lovers, with some caveats but also many reasons to visit.

The Lobster Pot has some of the best seafood. My family celebrated my birthday here and everything from food to service was awesome. We'll bring more family and friends here in the future.
Lobster Pot is our go to restaurant every time we are in Lake George and we never get disappointed. Victoria was our waitress and was very pleasant and accommodating. The food is always delicious and unlike some other establishments in Lake George, they take pride in what they prepare.
The food was good but they snuck in a $90 tip. We had a table of eight and they didn’t bother to mention they already but our tip into our bill. I thought it was ridiculous they made us pay such a high tip plus charged everyone that used a card $10. I absolutely believe in tipping but that was over the top.
