The Tankard Tavern offers a mixed dining experience. The first night, the server provided excellent service and the food was described as "absolutely five stars." The beautiful views, delicious food, and great drinks made it an enjoyable experience. However, the second visit was less satisfactory, as the waitress seemed uninterested, and it took a long time to get drinks. Despite this, the Tankard Tavern can provide a nice experience if you get the right server who is attentive and wants to make it an enjoyable visit. The Fort William Henry Eclipse party was also praised for its plentiful and delicious finger foods, great drinks, and beautiful setting, providing a wonderful experience.
