My sister and I recently reserved the Glens Falls Tap Room for my parents surprise 50th anniversary party. We started planning over a year in advance and corresponded with Anne Barry and Torey. They were both amazing to deal with and made the planning process so seamless! Anne was beyond accommodating to any and all requests that we had. Excellent place, visited from NJ and looking for a place Open to have some local beer and found this place, about to close but Jacob happly servered a couple of rounds of beers, excellent service by Jacob and also recommended local trails to hike and swim.
We're definitely stopping by again the next time.
If you’re a beer lover, Mean Max is worthy of a pilgrimage. Their head brewmaster, Jack Lamson, is truly a master at his craft. I’m somewhat convinced he’s an actual wizard. He’s also one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. Mean Max Brew Works is a spacious brewery in downtown Glens Falls with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This unique brewery is a great hub for live events and serves very good beers, with a helpful and friendly staff. Their beers are so popular they can’t brew them fast enough, and they have something for everyone, from sours to cider and wine. Mean Max is a family favorite, perfect for casual drinks or private parties, with a fun atmosphere and Trivia Nights on Wednesdays. Guests can bring outside food anytime, and the staff goes above and beyond to make every event a success.
