One warning if you come in a party of 6 or more there is automatic added gratuity now normally this is fine but be careful if you are purchasing anything but food. The waitress said she would start a tab for me and added the packs I bought to it. I thought this was great until the bill came and then I realized she did this so the auto gratuity was added to the cards as well. I give her credit it is very clever but just a warning to others so she doesn’t get you as well. Cards are pricey enough without someone adding a 15% tip

We visited on a rainy Sunday afternoon and had a great time. The food was good, typical burgers, fries and sandwiches, with a good selection of beer. The real fun was spending time with the family playing board games for three hours. I only wish we lived closer. As for the table fee, the servers were completely up front with the fee and extremely attentive. I'm not sure what happen to the other reviewers, but the table fee is posted on their website.

Was looking for a good place for five adults and four kids for a meal on a whim and this place was beyond perfect. Service was great and very accommodating with the chaos that is kids (even making just a plain egg for our 7 month old). Decor is well thought out (especially for Harry Potter fans) and the board game collection is vast, with plenty of variety. Will definitely be returning.

We stopped in for a quick lunch, of course when our bill was handed to us and there was a $10 table fee I questioned what it was and where it said we'd be charged that, the waiter said on the menu.

Funny thing, our table of 5 was handed 1 menu so i didnt even get to look at it...

Burnt chicken tenders, crunchy over cooked fries and a garden salad that had a few shreds of carrots & cheese?... now I see why hardly anyone was in there...

P.s. the "board game insurance fee" should be used to replace some of the games... missing peices and covered in food. ???

*Updated to add: the fee was clearly not communicated which is why we approached our server to ask. The server then saying I should have read the menu is what outraged me. Never did he say it could have been waived (as you posted on another review). So, before you insult customers maybe consider that the staff could have done better too. Also, the multiple people in my group chose to leave reviews.

UPDATE: Like I said, the staff did not mention the fee until we asked about it on the bill. We expressed our concerns with not knowing and the staff chose to not do anything and then audibly mocked us in the kitchen. It would take you no time at all and very little money to put some signs about the fee on the tables or on the shelves that hold the board games since I understand it's not always reliable to have well trained staff. Again I do not think $10 is an unreasonable amount of money for what it grants in service. But it is not common practice to read past what you are ordering on a menu.

$10 to rent a table whether you play a game for 5 minutes or not. There was no notice of this anywhere but for tiny font on a tiny menu and no mention from staff when being seated or while ordering. Food and portion size were nothing to write home about. Won't return.

To clarify, it's not about the money or the value. You can't charge for something that isn't properly communicated. Had we known, we'd have either gone elsewhere or waited to go at a time when we could stay longer. It's not common practice to read the fine print on the bottom of a menu.

We were just wandering around and saw this interestingly named place. So glad we stopped in. the family had a wonderful time. We need a place like this close to home! Food was delicious. Games were amazingly varied and the service was friendly and welcoming. A great option to spend, few hours playing board games and enjoying friends and families.

place is super cool and the food is good and fairly priced!! literally only knocking it down a star because we werent aware that we would have to pay a fee to rent the table, and i dont THINK we missed any sign saying so? its possible we did. either way it wasnt that big of a deal, it was just $10, and you get access to a ridiculously huge game library!

This place blew me away. They have SO. MANY. GAMES. (and they are all in really great shape) - Tons of different drinks to enjoy, food is pretty good. Really nice, chill atmosphere. This is great for families, date night, hanging out with friends, or meeting new ones. What a neat idea, we will absolutely be back!

Very normal prices for strangely good food. Staff was very nice and lots of board game options. This was my favourite thing I did in Glenn’s
