Ricky was our waiter and he was the best! A different wait staff person delivered our desserts and when we said "oh good it's her birthday" she went and had a candle put on her dessert. Wonderful. Food was excellent as always.
My Mom and I went to Morgan Co. recently for my birthday. The staff were all very nice (we have known some of them for years). The food was excellent - my Mom said the Scallops were the best she has ever had. My Gumbo entree was fantastic. We skipped dessert (which is always exquisite) only because we had birthday cake waiting at home. We look forward to our next trip.
We left disappointed, especially given the strong recommendations we'd heard. Our entrance was through a side/front porch area that appears to be added capacity rather than intentional dining space. The porch was wrapped in heavy plastic with a loud heater running continuously, something I wouldn't want to sit in during winter, and not a great first impression.
