Saw this place on a drive by, quaint older family owned diner. Old wood paneling don this place with a couple tables, counter seats, and booths. Menu is on the wall. Great food at reasonable prices. Nothing fancy about the place, we really enjoyed the food!! Breakfast for 2 was under $20! Wow

If you're looking for the old school diner feel go to Peters. Sams used to be my favorite diner and this was the first time I made it into Peters. Not only was the food good. Our breakfast was 15 dollars for the both of us. You just can't find that anywhere these days.

OMG ... a genuine one-of-a-kind classic "diner" with heart warming food, friendly home-style service and classic 1900's atmosphere. This place has been serving Glens Falls for over 50 years! Take my advice, visit this place and put a smile on your face that will last for days!

The 1960s called; they said KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, PETER'S DINER!? This is EASILY the most authentic, legit, bona-fide classic diner experience I’ve ever had, and I have eaten at a LOT of diners. So glad I was able to locate this place on Google because it was close to where I was traveling and since it opened at 5 AM I was able to have a hearty breakfast and be on the road early. The prices are absolutely phenomenal. You can see in the photos that I have uploaded. The breakfast shown was $13 including a tip of more than 20%. The service was fantastic, it was like your grandmother was making breakfast for you. The portion size maybe isn’t the greatest but when you look at the cost, it’s still an incredible value. You could order double everything and still be cheaper than most other places. My breakfast was prepared fresh and tasted just fantastic. This place is so real that they do not even have artificial sweetener, so I used sugar in my coffee which I never do! There was ample street parking when I was there, but it was super early, so it might be an issue later in the day. I wanted to take more pictures, but didn’t want to disturb the other patrons. An absolute gem of a place. I will definitely be back if I’m in the area again. Recommended!

Small, cozy, old-fashioned diner. Food was fast, hot and served with TLC. Reminds me of the places I ate as a child. Bring cash and expect to be made to feel like family. Loved it

Wonderful non-chain local small place from the '70s? Typically a one person operation as waitress, cook, and cleaner. Food was good and very reasonable.

The waitress was also the cook and handled the whole restaurant by herself. Food prices are probably the most reasonable we have seen anywhere. We had a very good breakfast here.

Peter’s wife Helen was a delight who waited on us. Their daughter cooked our breakfast which was excellent, & prices were back to 1980. Love it here would highly recommend for breakfast or

One of the more authentic diners in the USA and hardly changed since it first opened in 1961. The menu too has hardly changed. I wouldn’t say the food is the best but the total experience compensates. The cost for French Toast, two cups of coffee came to $11 including tip.Service efficient. Newspapers provided. No TV screen.
