GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Bartender needs a reality check. Don’t join in on our convos like you are our friend…don’t put dirty rags next to my drink…Be honest with your customers on wait times (maybe check before guessing). Lose the attitude brother
Beer was warm and flat
Kitchen couldn’t handle the orders for customers in the restaurant but kept sending food to the sister bar (the social). Be honest
Did not feel like an outlier of a night for the bar, but hopefully yall do better in the future.

Leaving one star because zero stars isn’t an option. Three of us stopped in on Saturday hoping for drinks and dinner before a hockey game, and the experience was a complete failure from start to finish.
We arrived at 5:35 p.m. and were completely ignored by the bartender until 5:50, despite the bar not being busy. When he finally acknowledged us and we were in the middle of ordering, he abruptly turned away to accept what appeared to be his personal DoorDash delivery. The lack of professionalism was shocking.
We placed our food order immediately because we were starving. While waiting, the bartender repeatedly set dirty glasses and filthy bar rags directly in front of us. It was disgusting and made us feel like we were sitting in a rundown dive bar rather than an establishment that supposedly serves food and drinks.
At 6:30 p.m., after waiting nearly 40 minutes, we asked about our food and were told it would be out in 10 minutes. Ten minutes later, we were informed that we would not be receiving our meals at all because “the chef is stressed and has a lot of tickets.” After 50 minutes of waiting, being told the kitchen simply wasn’t going to make our food is absolutely unacceptable.
If the kitchen couldn’t handle orders, we should have been told upfront so we could go elsewhere. Instead, our time was completely wasted before an event we were trying to get to. The total disregard for customers, lack of cleanliness, and unprofessional behavior make it hard to believe this place is still in business. Save yourself the frustration and eat literally anywhere else.
It was my husbands 40th birthday and he loves bourbon. From making the reservation with Journey to meeting James the manager I was blown away. His knowledge on not just bourbon but wine, and cocktails was incredible. Food was absolutely outstanding. But the service is stellar, truly. We may live almost 3 hours away but we are already planning our next trip to Glen Falls just to come visit the bourbon room. Thank you for finishing out a wonderful weekend on such a memorial note!

I went there this past weekend and was treated horribly literally the bartender asked me what I wanted and then he turned and started fist bumping people totally ignored me while pouring other people's drinks other people noticed and they were talking about it how disrespectful was that? On that note we turned around and left after waiting more than a few minutes for to regain Focus what a horrible experience me and my wife never felt more disrespected we will never be back

Really nice, dark and cozy place with good atmosphere. The bartender was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable and friendly and would probably be offended if he knew I called him a bartender haha. He was great. I had a strip steak for 26 dollars, which is really cheap so I wasn't expecting much. But it was a beautiful cut and perfectly cooked!! I highly recommend the Au Poivre option to go with it. It's a really nice place to eat, drink and relax and feel good at the end of the day. Only knock would be another customer having a speakerphone conversation in the booth behind us, but you can't hold that against the place.

We really enjoyed our visit to The Bourbon Room. The food was fantastic and the drinks were next level! The bartended was beyond excellent, he not only held down the bar but took care of every table in the place singlehandedly. I particularly enjoyed the Lamb lollipops and the Rosemary Old Fashion. Make sure to stop by while in Glens Falls!

4.5 stars. Intimate bar with small plates menu. We three came primarily for dinner but enjoyed some cocktails. I had the Smoke Show ($14) with X Glenmorangie Scotch whiskey with maple smoke -which was smooth and only slightly smokey; delicious. Also ordered was Waking up in Wexford with Irish whiskey with an interesting whiskey whip- this was a sweet drink- almost like a dessert. We shared the mussels ($10) which was great. The mussels were large and meaty; we got around 17 so everyone got a good portion. The chipotle maple maple wings ($12), although well prepared was just average (would give this a miss) and portion was small . The lamb lollipops (chops, $19) were very good with an interesting accompanying mint pecan pesto. The blackened salmon ($16) was moist and the skin was crispy; the cabbage with a hint of sesame oil was a table favorite. Everyone also enjoyed the brussel sprouts with pancetta ($8). The service was slow as it was a Friday evening & the bartender had a lot of customers; he also waited on the tables. The ambiance was fantastic with the old, ornate wood bar.
Parking: There were plenty of metered street parking within 3 blocks. We parked around 6:15pm. Around 8:30pm there were plenty of spots closer.

This is the same place as Downtown Social. Not friendly, aggressive behavior towards me (middle age female military veteran) from male bartenders and staff. Not friendly toward Military/ Military veterans.
Food was amazing! We had the 35 day dry aged ribeye. James, the bartender, is wonderful and very knowledgeable about drinks. Would highly recommend. The atmosphere is laid back, quiet, and you can actually hear your partner talking. An enjoyable experience

James is probably the most knowledgeable bartender I've met. He takes the time to explain the how and why about spirits and drinks.

Absolutely some of the best cocktails in the area.. the bartender is a well respected master of his art. It’s one of the only spots I regularly venture to in Glens Falls and it’s always worth it.. If you go on a Saturday night there is usually some legitimate Jazz artists performing right there next to you.. doesn’t get better in this area..
