I attended a party at The Tower this past year...so this review is only for the catering that they provided at this event. First, the space is awesome. It's the top level of the highest building in Glens Falls with awesome views from many different angles. The staff that I encountered were excellent. But, the food was mediocre...and some was a bit less than just OK. Not sure if it was due to the choices of the party-throwers (perhaps the options were not my cup of tea), or if the food really wasn't quite up to par. It's hard catering for over 100 people. And, I don't think that catering is The Tower's normal gig. So, I'm planning to go back and check it out for a brunch or lunch at some point.

You made a reservation at a restaurant that is not open We traveled there to find out they are no longer open for public dining but just private events You should Jane not made a reservation for me at a restaurant that is closed and plans to remain closed My wife's birthday brunch was ruined by an incompetent lack of communication

We had a family reunion on Father's Day and there were few places that could accommodate us in Glens Falls for brunch. The food was good, great service, beautiful views and at the right price. Thanks for a great reunion.

We went for Mother's Day, party of 6. It was extremely unorganized and they didn't seem well staffed for the event. Some food was okay, other food was extremely over cooked and dry. Omelet and pancake station was a disaster and extremely understaffed for the demand. Wouldn't go again for the price. Staff was friendly but the taller man in charge was not.

The mothers day brunch event was very very under staffed, we were there 40 min's before we saw our wait person. the buffet was not being replenished, the food was dry, over cooked by the sterno's no one was there to watch or tend, no one was there to carver the turkey or ham, which isn't an issue if you want to do it yourself but with 80 people in line behind you and your holding a plate... No one could order omelets as the staff was too busy to make them. No salad dressing, although they ran out of salads in the first hour. Many complained, they removed items from the bills to make up for it. They knew they were booked as a friend tried to make a reservation a couple days before and it was book solid. So for the reason for such a staff shortage is hard to excuse. The view was great. We left way more of a tip then we should have, we only bothered to ask our wait person for one thing - we asked twice, as we knew she was busy, but we never got it and so we just left. Its a shame, the yr before we had such a great time. Not sure if it will be my 1st pick next yr certainly NOT WORTH THE PRICE!

The view and the decor for our mothers day brunch were devine.. unfortunately the positivity stops there. We called to try to confirm our reservation but no one answered, the reservation stated 9:15 despite their website saying they were not open until 10. We were seated in the corner with no water glasses (which every other table had), salt, pepper or ketchup. It took 15 minutes for our server to even notice we were there. Buffet style brunch was okay, brownies were delicious, strawberries were still frozen, homefries were burnt, carved meat was dried out but made to order pancakes were good. Except one table has taken the buffets 2 syrup containers so after stealing ketchup, salt and pepper from one table, I had to ask this table who had all the syrup to share with the rest of us in the room. My mother in law had asked that when the server come back, she bring her a flute for her to have a mimosa too. After 30 minutes she brought my brother in laws soda refill and neve brought the champagne flute for my mother in law. The price point was very reasonable but not at all worth the food or service provided.

The food served was not what was on the menu on the website...There was no variety of foods or desserts (only 2 cakes)...The soup was extremely spiced, okay if you were into VERY spicy food!...We used a coupon for this and glad we did because it was not worth the price without a coupon...Very overrated, not good value.

A disappointing "brunch" experience. The breakfast omelets were excellent, but other breakfast fare was mediocre. Lunch fare was limited, including no desert items even though advertisements said they were included. Service was very good but couldn't make up for the mediocre menu. We paid 1/2 price with a Groupon, otherwise it would have been grossly overpriced. Would not recommend and will not return.

I always go there for lunch because the salads are awesome! The staff is always really nice. Went once for brunch on Sunday and the views were amazing, and so was the food!

After a recent change in management, the cafe food we were waiting for is back and atmosphere is beyond welcoming. Val and her staff accommodate all special requests with a smile, and leave you feeling like you went home for lunch. PLUS warm cookies, I mean c'mon. Totally recommend, super great :)

Now that The Tower Cafe has been around a few months, I want to note that they have really established themselves as a convenient, high-quality option for those working downtown. Daily specials always include something for every taste, from seafood and pasta to wraps, quesadillas and more. The staff goes out of their way to satisfy special orders, and the variety of food from salads to entrees to desserts is varied and satisfying. You'll pay a little more than you would at a fast-food joint, but the quality of the food is excellent and the view of downtown is relaxing and fun.
