Custard cottage has been around for as long as I can remember and I always loved going there. The new owners are doing an excellent job keeping the tradition of old school treats alive. A clean place, friendly and hometown atmosphere, not to mention fresh made to order food!

First time ever ordering food from here but I have to say this won't be the last time. The bacon burger was so good and not one of those typical frozen patties. Fresh made and fresh cut fries as well. Also liked that it was on a brioche bun and not your typical, cheap hamburger bun. Everything tasted good and so filling, I couldn't eat it all. Definitely will order again next season.

I’m not one for writing reviews I’ve been to the Custard Cottage twice this year since it’s had new owners. Twice the new owner has walked past me and not said hello nor how are you doing. being a new business owner in town you think she would be a little more friendly at least come out and see how you’re doing especially if she’s standing right in front of you. The food pretty good the ice cream was pretty good. The girl that took my order was extremely nice.. My biggest thing is if you’re a new business owner and you see new faces maybe you should interact with them a little bit more I understand sometimes people get busy. But she wasn’t that busy on her phone worrying about a package that had been delivered to her house. Interaction with customers brings them back especially the ones that they have not seen before or does not know. Not just with people she knows. Because you know they’re gonna come back and spend money people you don’t know first impression says it all. I’ll go back just because I like the ice cream for the conversation and take my grandson there because that’s what I’ve done with him for the 9 years .

Strawberry 🍓 soft ice cream was delicious my son loved the blue panda! Very fast not a long wait at all, picnic tables on both sides of the building!
The new management is top notch. Ready to contribute to the community. Hard working. Classic food with improvements (yay, grilled chicken). Produce stand is in the works and we love the Hershey’s ice cream. Came for dinner & stayed for ice cream. Can’t wait to see what is next.

This is definitely not the Custard Cottage I grew up getting ice cream from. I'm very disappointed with this place under new management and with employees that do not know how to make a decent size cone. The prices are outrageous for the size you get. Their specialty soft serve flavor machine always seems to be not working?. I personally will never get ice cream from here again.
