Ellden's Grill & Banquet

Matt our server was excellent. My wife got the Rubin sandwich which was also excellent. The burger was a little disappointing the Bun was way larger than the portion of the burger. We both wanted a glass of wine but they could not produce a wine menu so I had to go up to the bar to see what wine they had and asked just to have the house cabernet. After quite some time they finally informed us they don't have a house cab and couldn't even tell me what the actual prices were for the wine. We ended up ordering the apple strudel for dessert which was raw. The dough was still gooey and runny and left a terrible aftertaste in our mouth.
Not a good way to finish a dinner. We showed it to the waiter and he could obviously see it and agreed. Yet they still found a way to leave it on our bill. The salt shakers are unusable the crude and debris on the salt shakers is disgusting
We live on Grand Island just a few miles from this restaurant it's very disappointing to realize that we will not be patronizing
This restaurant. We understand it's been under new management for the last few months they have certainly got their work cut out for them. $122 for 2 sandwiches and 4 glasses of wine and a undercooked dessert.

Except for the loudmouth patrons at the bar, this was a very pleasant experience. The service and food were excellent and we didn't feel rushed.

Nice atmosphere and good food.

We are visiting Niagara Falls and took a chance on this restaurant but wish we hadn’t. The pretzel we ate was yummy and my salad but our main courses were subpar. My pork chop was tough on the inside and my fiancés meat was flavorless and the potatoes were not great. The brussel sprouts were good . The other main issue was our server. He was not attentive enough and didn’t bring the extra pretzel cheese and we had to ask someone else. He never asked if I needed more tea after it was empty and never asked how everything was. We cannot recommend this restaurant.

Ellden's has the best fish fry in WNY. The servers are friendly and professional. I highly recommend Elldens!

I ordered a vegetarian pasta dish which should have included mushrooms one of the reasons I ordered it. When it was served I noticed there were no mushrooms. I brought it to the attention of both the server and the manager who both just sort of shrugged it off and said they were sorry. Evidently they ran out of mushrooms but didn't mention it when I ordered it. I feel they should have taken something off the tab or offered a complimentary dessert etc. Nothing like that happened. Pennywise pound foolish. Disappointing dinner.

Had my daughters bridal shower brunch there today. Everything went perfect! Diane was very easy to work with, very accommodating and everything went as was planned. The room looked great, food was delicious and the service was excellent. Thank you again for making it easy to have a joyous celebration without any headaches. Would definitely book an event there again!
