Played course since the 70's - weekend trips!!!!!
Course looks great! newly acquired superintendent Peter L is doing a great job .
Didn't play here.....looked like a wide open course.....

River Oaks Golf Club offers an excellent dining experience with attention to detail and high-quality food. The atmosphere is great, and the service is above and beyond. The golf course is well-groomed and well-maintained, with good drainage, making it playable even on rainy days. The staff, including the bartender, are knowledgeable and friendly, providing a fun experience for visitors. The course layout is excellent and in the best condition seen in years, though some may find the length challenging for seniors. The club’s sand traps could use some consistency, and the clubhouse has a very musty, antique locker room. Lunch and dinner are enjoyable, though not five-star, and the course remains a pretty, somewhat challenging, and enjoyable place to play regardless of weather.
