“We stopped in on a Tuesday because we were shopping in the area and are so glad we did! The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, the ambiance was nice (maybe the music could be lowered), and the food was amazing! I had the duck two ways and it was gorgeous and perfectly cooked. He had the enormous pork chop, also cooked perfectly and juicy. Great cocktails and apps as well. Highly recommend.“

“Went here for the first time just to have a few drinks and dinner .. The bartenders were very welcoming. The moment we came in we sat at the bar. Natalie was the first bartender to greet us . They have lots of menu items to choose from a large cocktail list large beer and wine list and the service was amazing. The bartenders were very attentive to us and Natalie took care of us most of the time that we were there and her service was just absolutely amazing. They made really good dirty gin martinis for me and I also tried an espresso martini and it was delicious. We got the Mediterranean flatbread. It was so good and a steak sandwich and fries. Everything was cooked to our liking and the drinks and food were amazing along with the service and conversation Definitely a 10 out of 10 and I can’t believe this was my first time going here. I wish I would’ve found this place a lot sooner. It will now be one of my favorites. I can’t wait to come back and try more things. Definitely a 10 out of 10.“

“Enjoyed an excellent dinner tonight at Savor. Food was delicious-there were four of us—two of us had the pork chop and the other two had the Swiss burger. Well prepared, juicy, tasty. Would have again. The $30 prix fixe dinner offers appetizer (we had the crab cake and the goat cheese and quinoa salad), main course and dessert (all excellent). Student/servers did a great job. “Went for dinner on Easter Sunday, Staff was great and atmosphere as always top shelf. My wife had filet it was perfect, I had rack of lamb, but it was not a rack but 2 rack bones with 3 inches of meat hanging off, I could not even cut the meat with a steak knife, had to send it back to be cut. beware when you order a rack $70“

“We move to this area a few months ago and drove by the country cottage many times and we finally decided to try the breakfast. It was outstanding! The wait time was very short even when it was busy. The waitresses were very good and the food is awesome! The country cottage is definitely our new go to for breakfast! We've enjoyed the breakfasts here many times and each time it's outstanding! Very highly recommend!!“

“Every time I’ve eaten at the Phoenix 269 the food was incredible- the service is perfect. I love the atmosphere and the patio. It’s a cozy, family run business that makes you feel like your eating with family! I had the shrimp dish / it was delicious. The ice cream pie was unbelievably good! I’ll be back.“

“Great food, bartenders were awesome. The beers were fresh and there were plenty to choose from. One thing it does need is another TV at the other side of the bar. This would help when there are any home games on, you can watch it from either side of the bar.“

“Absolutely amazing food. We had zero wait to be seated, despite having a 5+ person party.

The food was delicious, our server was attentive without being overbearing. We ordered a dessert to go, and she even explained the best way to eat it after we have room again.

“Students do an excellent job and will be fine additions to any establishment. Before going to the Sabres game, having lunch with the culinary students of ECC. Pear-gorganzola with crispy prosciutto, Osso Bucco veal shanks, limoncello Semifreddo and fresh bread with garlic butter and pesto. Sometimes I'm hesitant to tell you where the good stuff is, because you have to make reservations and I don't want it to get over crowed as it does sometimes 😆“

“We had our daughter‘s baby shower here this past weekend. They were amazing. Lauran was very intentive to all of our needs, and her staff was great. They took great care of us. My daughter and son-in-law were very pleased with where I chose to have their baby shower and everyone raved about how good the finger foods were. “Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

“Cool buffalo relic of the past. Older crowd, cheap pricing and a small parking lot out back. Went in at 9pm on a Saturday and it was just two patrons and the bar was ready to close by 10. But they open at 8am. Super clean facility especially for how much history it has.“

“This was our first time at chez ami for our 7 year anniversary and I can't begin to tell you what a great and intimate dinner I had with my husband. The restaurant itself was something out of a magazine, the food was out of this world, and our waiter was great, fast and friendly and we were not only offered a champagne toast on the house for our anniversary but also dessert on the house which was also like a work of art to eat and was so delicious. “Got stranded at Christmas 2022. This hotel staff is absolutely amazing!! Very accommodating, super helpful. Other hotels are running out of food and these guys are making breakfast and a dinner for everyone. It’s truly an amazing crew. They are stranded with us and dealing with all the stress yet have a smile on their face!! A can not recommend this place enough, just because of the staff. “Excellent chicken wings and pub food. Super busy during concerts next door at the Riviera theater so plan accordingly. Get there at least an hour and a half early if you want to make a show at the Riviera. Last time I went a friend of mine waited over an hour to be served food and he actually got there before us???“
