“We always enjoy our trips to Shamus. We enjoy everything about the experience. Very pleasant people and excellent background music. My fish and chips was very good and they had no problem with a substitution. My wife ordered twin filets. We've found many restaurants are using tenderizer on their meat. No so here. The filets were outstanding. While there, we ordered the beef with Stout gravy to take out. It's been excellent at the restaurant, but the takeout was just marginal. The gravy was milky and the flavor rather bland. Hopefully they haven't changed the recipe from the rich brown stout gravy. That's the only reason the food didn't get five stars. WE aren't really dessert people, but in the past we've had no complaints on that front. Shamus is our home away from home for a great meal with really nice atmosphere.“

“The venue was usually closed but opened and staffed fully for a musical fair celebration of life for a local musician and producer who had an immense collection of instruments and show gear. They even made a custom menu of incredibly delicious offerings that tasted gourmet quality, service was super friendly and extremely professional and fast.
The ownership was involved to a personal level and you could feel the care which made the event magical and a great success. There was a patio concert in the breezeway on a beautiful day. I'm coming back for awesome food, great service and attention to customer satisfaction beyond expectations. I'm going to be bringing lots of people here and returning often. I already want to order the steak stackers again. See you there!“

“My 1st time...not my last. Tried the Pick 2 with Muscato Salad and Drewski Specialty Sandwich. The salad tasted very fresh and the sandwich came on warm toasted ciabatta bread heaped with ingredients.“

“We move to this area a few months ago and drove by the country cottage many times and we finally decided to try the breakfast. It was outstanding! The wait time was very short even when it was busy. The waitresses were very good and the food is awesome! The country cottage is definitely our new go to for breakfast! We've enjoyed the breakfasts here many times and each time it's outstanding! Very highly recommend!!“
