“Wow. My coworker knew about my love of French onion soup and insisted I make the trek from the north towns to this place. I can say, there wasn’t much reason for our family to travel to East Aurora after one of fav kids museums moved, but now I have a reason to make the haul! We stopped by here after taking our kid’s to a gym in the area and I’m glad we did. I’d say that this might be my favorite French onion soup on the basis of the rich flavors alone. My wife and I went back and forth comparing it to our number one. I felt this is a little less cheesy than my typical favorite (or maybe it was slightly more cooked than I’m used to) but the flavor of the broth and ingredients are the best. We weren’t ready for dinner so we just ordered the soups and got fries for the kids. My daughter was raving about the fries and the service. She kept saying “we have to come back.” I agree!“
“Food was absolutely amazing. The mashed potatoes are great. The portion size was impressive. Comfortable setting and nice waiter we had. He was very friendly and professional. We went on 3/16/24. First time there and can't wait to go back. I got the pork chop on the bone. It was amazing.“
“Excellent food! I loved the food. It was made to perfection. The beef was cooked as requested and served warm. The mashed potatoes were as good as other places should have been. (Seriously how hard is it to mash potatoes?) The service is what I expected to be for a restaurant of this caliber and target audience.“
“This is a great reason to support local businesses. Pizza is very good and priced right, $5-8 less than the other guys. And it's a solid pie. Wings are another strong point: great sauces, cooked perfectly and a good size.Service is as warm and inviting as it gets, one person nicer than the next. Love taking the kids on the weekends because it's not going to cost you an arm and a leg. This is what a neighborhood local should be.“
“My husband and I had the best dinner ever at the Dog Bar on New Year’s Eve. I had surf and turf and he had the sea bass. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service couldn’t have been better! What a wonderful way to welcome in the New Year! We will definitely be having dinner there again soon!“
“It was our monthly gathering of the TreeNuts. I ordered the mild chicken fingers and fries. Whooaaa! It was a lot of food. The food was delivered hot, fresh and it was delicious. I took a to go box and a finger for lunch and dinner and it was just as good as the first bite!So glad we chose this cute little bar and grill. The only down side was parking but there is plenty on street parking.I'll definitely be back. Thanks so much for your prompt, friendly serviceParking: Small on lot parking but there is off street parking.“
“My son and I love 99 Brick Oven. He always gets the margarita pizza and cheesy garlic bread. I try to try some different menu items. Food is always amazing. Staff is always amazing. When they first opened I called to ask about the pizza because my son if very picky. They told me if he didn't like the pizza it would be free. He LOVED the pizza!! We love sitting outside on the patio regardless of weather.“
“Really enjoyed the fried pickles(great batter) and cheese fries. Good American Menu. The band was WAY too loud and the sounds were very unbalanced, couldn't hear or understand anything. We had to wear ear plugs.Vegetarian options: Really good veggie wrap.“
“We loved our dinner last night! Casual vibe and amazing food. Our 3 kids ate the entire pepperoni pizza! Beet salad was out of this world, it's really hard to get beets right (looking at you, Neat..) but they absolutely nailed it. We will definitely be back. Edit: forgot to add that the service was also great.“
“Colden Mill Restaurant is less than 15 mins south of E Aurora Village-- east to find in a sweet setting. Chef is both talented & creative, our food (shrimp & grits and bacon wrapped meatloaf, fantastic salad and a trio of sorbets) was all delicious! Our server was charming, pleasant and efficient, the bartender was friendly, and bar area for pre dinner drink or meeting friends is ample. And the biggest surprise? - live music on Wednesday nights. If you live in East Aurora and you like our restaurants but want a new spot- make Colden Mill another place to frequent. My only suggestion for chef? maybe more vegetarian choices. It was great, we will be back!“
“I’ve always had a great experience - the entire staff is “to blame” for that! Always had friendly service- even if the person walking by is not our server - they always smile and make eye contact, food has always been delicious. I’ve been there a few times with people who’ve never been- and we’ve always left with them talking about what a great choice of restaurant. Keep it up!!“
“I keep asking myself why I don't come here more often. Over the years, I have never had a bad meal at this place. Plus, if you're just stopping for a drink, the bar has always been pretty fun - always a nice group of locals, down to earth folk here. The menu was a really good mix of options with plenty of choices for everyone, no matter what you're in the mood for. Located just a short hop outside of East Aurora, I always find it's worth my drive from Williamsville to do a little shopping in town and grab a lunch or dinner at Kodiak Jack's. My latest choice was the prime rib and stuffed hot pepper sandwich. It was some of the most tender prime rib I have ever had on a sandwich. Chicken wings were half price, so we started with wings as an appetizer to split between us. The wings had a nice light crisp on the outside, and were tender and juicy on the inside. Perfection. Portions are hardy, there's no skimping here. If you're looking for a new restaurant option and want to turn it into an afternoon, drive on out to East Aurora and see some of the most beautiful shops and have a lovely meal.“
