“Went here for the first time just to have a few drinks and dinner .. The bartenders were very welcoming. The moment we came in we sat at the bar. Natalie was the first bartender to greet us . They have lots of menu items to choose from a large cocktail list large beer and wine list and the service was amazing. The bartenders were very attentive to us and Natalie took care of us most of the time that we were there and her service was just absolutely amazing. They made really good dirty gin martinis for me and I also tried an espresso martini and it was delicious. We got the Mediterranean flatbread. It was so good and a steak sandwich and fries. Everything was cooked to our liking and the drinks and food were amazing along with the service and conversation Definitely a 10 out of 10 and I can’t believe this was my first time going here. I wish I would’ve found this place a lot sooner. It will now be one of my favorites. I can’t wait to come back and try more things. Definitely a 10 out of 10.“

“Went for dinner on Easter Sunday, Staff was great and atmosphere as always top shelf. My wife had filet it was perfect, I had rack of lamb, but it was not a rack but 2 rack bones with 3 inches of meat hanging off, I could not even cut the meat with a steak knife, had to send it back to be cut. beware when you order a rack $70“

“Every time I’ve eaten at the Phoenix 269 the food was incredible- the service is perfect. I love the atmosphere and the patio. It’s a cozy, family run business that makes you feel like your eating with family! I had the shrimp dish / it was delicious. The ice cream pie was unbelievably good! I’ll be back.“

“Great food, bartenders were awesome. The beers were fresh and there were plenty to choose from. One thing it does need is another TV at the other side of the bar. This would help when there are any home games on, you can watch it from either side of the bar.“

“I alway enjoy whatever cocktail I get from Ballyhoo, and my last visit there was no different. One of the best bars in town in my opinion with very reasonably priced drinks and excellent customer service. Not a very large bar space, but definitely worth checking out. They do serve a limited food menu as well, but I have not tried any yet.“

“Students do an excellent job and will be fine additions to any establishment. Before going to the Sabres game, having lunch with the culinary students of ECC. Pear-gorganzola with crispy prosciutto, Osso Bucco veal shanks, limoncello Semifreddo and fresh bread with garlic butter and pesto. Sometimes I'm hesitant to tell you where the good stuff is, because you have to make reservations and I don't want it to get over crowed as it does sometimes 😆“

“We had our daughter‘s baby shower here this past weekend. They were amazing. Lauran was very intentive to all of our needs, and her staff was great. They took great care of us. My daughter and son-in-law were very pleased with where I chose to have their baby shower and everyone raved about how good the finger foods were. I will definitely plan another event here in the future.“

“Scott was out bartender, and server the few nights we were in town. And Scott was the absolute best. The first night we were in town the hotel was packed with a hockey tournament and everyone coming in early for the last bills game. The hotel staff didn't think to staff the bar/restaurant with more than him and a cook for the night. So getting our food and his time was quite an ordeal. Two and a half hours for food from start to finish.
That being said Scott stopped by, apologized, talked with us, understood our frustration, we understood his, and we could not blame him. He made being there enjoyable for anyone that entered. A man who took a job that could make many angry for a lot of other people serious and really made sure you were taken care.“

“Cool buffalo relic of the past. Older crowd, cheap pricing and a small parking lot out back. Went in at 9pm on a Saturday and it was just two patrons and the bar was ready to close by 10. But they open at 8am. Super clean facility especially for how much history it has.“

“Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

“This was our first time at chez ami for our 7 year anniversary and I can't begin to tell you what a great and intimate dinner I had with my husband. The restaurant itself was something out of a magazine, the food was out of this world, and our waiter was great, fast and friendly and we were not only offered a champagne toast on the house for our anniversary but also dessert on the house which was also like a work of art to eat and was so delicious. Thank you for a great anniversary dinner.“

“Went to Betty’s today for a little brunch/lunch today! We had Brian as our server, he was super attentive, gave great recommendations, and kept our waters refilled (huge plus). The portions were perfect if not bigger than we could eat. We enjoyed the patio and being able to eat outside. Definitely will be back!“

“Went to brunch today with my 8 month old daughter and mother and the staff was more than accommodating. Gloria,Gracie and Glory were all beyond helpful and kind. They were full of smiles and had positive attitudes the whole time. I am actively nursing and they offered a banker room for me to pump so I can do it comfortably. The restaurant was clean,neat and the food was also delicious. 10 out of 10 recommend and will be coming back!“

“Got stranded at Christmas 2022. This hotel staff is absolutely amazing!! Very accommodating, super helpful. Other hotels are running out of food and these guys are making breakfast and a dinner for everyone. It’s truly an amazing crew. They are stranded with us and dealing with all the stress yet have a smile on their face!! A can not recommend this place enough, just because of the staff. “Noplace to sit and eat, but who cares when it's this good. They have the best Texas Hots in my opinion. I don't get anything else but back in the day the breakfasts were awesome too. This particular location of Louis has the best Texas Hots for some reason. Awesome. Really nice staff as well. :)“

“Love the beef tacos with medium amount of ETS sauce! I've been a customer off and on since about 1977 (?), when I first had the tacos and subs as a college student. Now I live out of state, so I get to Buffalo just once in a while. This summer I visited and was surprised at the price of the tacos, but the quality is the same (Soooo good!) I even turned my husband on to them. We bought a volume to take with us! The counter associate was very personable. The place is clean. Parking was adequate when we arrived.
