“This is an amazing little gem hiding on Maple rd. My daughter and I were looking for a place to eat, something different from the everyday chains and decided to try Roma Thai & Burmese Cuisine. The Samosas are a pocket of perfect spice. I had the Roma Ginger-a healthy and perfect blend of vegatables and giner sauce. The service was excellent! “Had the best dinner out in a very long time. Sea Bass special. Not sure I would have ordered it if the dish was written out. Too many things added in that I ultimately didn't know what they were. Not a big pesto fan and the dish came in a bath of creamy green with an odd looking chutney of sorts on top. The green was a fantastic pesto tinged super flavorful sauce and the topping was a grand mix of sweet, savory and nut crunch, a fantastic meal.“

“Akis is a small restaurant with very good food. The only downside for me is, there's only one person taking the orders most of the time. I've had quite a few meals here. I'll be back to try more of the delicious dishes. The pancake is outstanding! The Greek skillet is very filling. The Greek potatoes are hit and miss, meaning they can range from very delicious to I've had better. My daughter had the salmon and said it was really good!“

“The Buffalo Tikka Indian restaurant in downtown Buffalo is open despite some major construction on Main Street where it resides. And that is good news! The food is excellent. As someone who loves his curry I can recommend the Veggie Vindaloo. As with all of the dishes the vindaloo can be prepared mild or spicy. And the spicy incarnation will prompt some perspiration on one's scalp without detracting from the taste. Vindaloo is my favourite Indian dish and this mixed vegetable dish in vindaloo sauce is very, very good. My wife and kids loved the Aloo Palak and the Somosas. They also sampled the Mango and Blueberry Lassis. The only thing missing was alcohol: Tikka does not stock Taj Mahal or any other adult beverage. As a fan of Taj I would have appreciated a cold beer to accompany the food. That said, the service is very good, the prices reasonable and the food delicious. It is somewhat tricky to find parking and to navigate the construction but worth the effort. The restaurant also offers delivery for those not inclined to drive down busy Main Street.“

“I alway enjoy whatever cocktail I get from Ballyhoo, and my last visit there was no different. One of the best bars in town in my opinion with very reasonably priced drinks and excellent customer service. Not a very large bar space, but definitely worth checking out. They do serve a limited food menu as well, but I have not tried any yet.“
