Bertha's Diner Reviews
Food and portion size were excellent with friendly service and cozy atmosphere ! Definitely a must try!
I travel a good amount of have eaten at many diners over the years. This is one of the best.
The omelettes are incredible! I cannot stress this enough. Maybe the best omelette I’ve ever had- certainly at a diner. The food is fresh and of high quality. You can taste the care in the product. If you’re in the Buffalo /Niagra area, this is a must stop!
Hands down, my favorite Breakfast Diner in Buffalo.
Must try.. the Corned beef hash or the Rooster omelette. Also the Chicken and waffles with the savory sweet maple syrup is the best I've ever had. My daughter loves the grilled banana bread and over easy eggs which are always cooked to perfection!
They are busy on the weekends but definitely worth the wait!!! You'll never have a bad meal here.
The costumer service is top notch, they'll treat you like family.

Bertha's Diner is an old-school diner on Hertel that offers a cozy atmosphere and attentive service. The small, family-owned restaurant can seat about 38-40 people, including a counter, booths, and tables. It has a quaint, magical vibe that makes it feel special, almost like the Muppets might burst out of the back room in song. The menu includes a variety of delicious options, such as the Sammy Biscuit sandwich with homemade corned beef, and breakfast dishes made with love. The food is prepared to perfection, with crispy potatoes, eggs cooked just right, and tasty sides like corned beef hash. Although the interior can get warm on hot days, the excellent food, great portions, and friendly service make it a place worth visiting for casual breakfast, brunch, or lunch.
