“Don’t be deceived by the outside of this place. We stopped in yesterday for their .50 wings, but were admittedly cautious upon entering. The old adage “don’t judge a book by its cover” proved to be relevant as we walked inside to a well-organized, pristine, vibrantly painted establishment full of customers of all ages. The staff was friendly and welcoming, particularly our bartender. We sat at the bar and ordered hot wings and a small fish fry. I’m almost hesitant to rave about the fish fry because we all know how difficult it is to get into a place that serves a good fish fry this time of year. However, I simply must. What was a small fish fry was easily a large fish fry — a generous portion of haddock and fries with slaw and choice of mac salad, tuna mac, or potato salad. The real highlight however was how crispy the batter was on the fish. It was without a doubt the crispiest fish fry I’ve ever had. The wings were jumbo and could have been…wait for it…crispier, but for .50 a wing, that’s not worth complaining about. Overall, an excellent first-time experience and we’re looking forward to the next one soon.“

“I alway enjoy whatever cocktail I get from Ballyhoo, and my last visit there was no different. One of the best bars in town in my opinion with very reasonably priced drinks and excellent customer service. Not a very large bar space, but definitely worth checking out. They do serve a limited food menu as well, but I have not tried any yet.“

“It's a very chill atmosphere. It's cleaner than a dive bar, but eclectic with decorations. They have stage space but it's small and cozy and not usually too crowded. You can see the owner in and out of the kitchen. She was very nice to her staff.

Kid-friendliness: It's a bar. No kids please.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are steps into the place, however call ahead and I'm sure they would make arrangements, so that you feel welcome. It's the vibe that I get from the people there.“

“Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

“12/10 wings and 12/10 service. The bartender and cook were extremely friendly. They treated us out of towners like some locals.. and seems like some can’t handle that based on their reviews. If you’re on the hunt for some true buffalo wings, this is a great spot to try!

I found out about this place via a Reddit post. And they nailed it. Very local, very dive bar atmosphere and that’s exactly what we wanted. If you have thin skin like I’ve seen in another review go elsewhere. But if you want some true authentic wings in Buffalo, go here. The wings themselves were awesome. Traditional wings with sauce. I did go with their house made hot sauce which was great. Not too spicy but full of flavor. Not a buffalo sauce, it’s their own thing.

I also saw another review complaining about the beef on weck. It must have been their first one because Kelly’s was perfectly cooked and prepared.

“lol this place isn’t “allen st bar & grill” or whatever, it’s The Pink. and i’ve heard their food is great (never eaten there because i’m a vegetarian). but one time when i was there i asked if there was any vegetarian food & the bartender served me some pickles, which was great. and drinks are cheap. great place to end a fun buffalo night. also if you’re a femme, you’ll make temporary best friends in the women’s bathroom every time. can you even say you’re a buffalonian if you haven’t been to The Pink? no. the answer is no.“

“This is a small corner bar. The bartenders stay on top of your drinks! They have pool tables, darts & a jukebox. They sometimes have live bands or a dj. They do serve food as well. I recommend the cheeseburgers & frys! If your in the area check it out!“

“Got stranded at Christmas 2022. This hotel staff is absolutely amazing!! Very accommodating, super helpful. Other hotels are running out of food and these guys are making breakfast and a dinner for everyone. It’s truly an amazing crew. They are stranded with us and dealing with all the stress yet have a smile on their face!! A can not recommend this place enough, just because of the staff. Merry Christmas and thank you so very very much!!!“

“I had my daughter's birthday party at Northtown center during an open skate on short notice. The Skybox owner was very accommodating, and set us up in their private party room for pizza and cake. It overlooks the main ice rink which was great. The staff was very helpful and the pizza and wings were tasty. Thanks again!“

“The bartenders Sheri was amazing! Made everything so fun and made me the greatest Ham club sub around, normally don’t eat at little bars like this but she changed my mind about little pubs . She made the atmosphere so light and fun. First time there and it was so welcoming. Make sure you go in when she’s there . You won’t be disappointed.“

“Our family had Easter Brunch at Jack Rabbit and we were all very impressed, the service was excellent! Everything was served in a timely manner (even with it being very busy) our food was hot and delicious! We all had different entrees from Eggs Benedict, Steak & Eggs, Turkey Benedict, Pancakes and we all agreed that the Breakfast Pizza was the BEST we have ever had oh and don’t forget the Tater Tots! “I wish I could rate this higher but to be honest as a non smoker I couldn't get past the cigarette smell in the restaurant which I honestly believe may have impacted the taste of the food to me. Our server was amazing and she was very attentive. I had the scallops and risotto which was okay, for me the risotto was a bit undercooked. I also had the oysters which were amazing.“
