“Fried Green Tomatoes, Brisket, Pulled Pork, Potato Salad and Mac & Cheese with some Corn Bread. Food was good but honestly the service was better! I would say the food was mid, mediocre to good. But the service I received was amazing! My waitress was so pleasant and bubbly. She made the experience nice!“

“Definitely worthy of a minimum 5 star review. I worked for Helen & Frank Propis 46 years ago for 6 years & lived above "Propis Bar" for a year & a half. (The front half of the upstairs. I can say with certainty that Frank & Helen would be beyond overjoyed to how you have transformed their family place & continue their legacy. My compliments to the chef in my opinion is worthy of a James Beard award who served up scrumptiously cooked garlic parmesan chicken fingers with a pairing of perfectly seasoned fries & a healthy side of blue cheese & perfectly baked grilled cheese that was definitely not your mamma's grilled cheese & then we were served a sampling of the most delectable carrot soup that was to die for so we had to add that to our dinner. We paired all this with a Northern Gravity, an apple infused bourbon that would even make the Scott's smile. And Conner our server & Amanda behind the bar were absolutely awesome. They say you can't go back home but this place felt like home, felt like family. Thank you for such a warm welcome“

The space is beautiful—open and creatively decorated.

The service was poor today. It took us 40 minutes to get our entrees. Our waitress didn’t seem to care at all. She was painfully slow and mostly non-responsive.

The home fries were so flavorful, with onions and the right amount of crunch. My sister has her home fries with the Greek chili sauce! I should have followed her lead. “Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

Don’t remember her name, she was getting ready to leave from the day shift Saturday. We were waiting for our Uber in the parking lot when she left and even checked to make sure we were ok. This place is now on our list of places we like to frequent.“

“Went for my engagement dinner with my partner and was not disappointed! Firstly, we had the best server who was so friendly and accommodating as we initially started out outside, but then my partner was a little cold, so were able to move inside without any interruption to the service experience. She was the best. In terms of the food, I opted for the Pasta Bolognese, which was very yummy. Definitely wish I had some leftovers. My partner who was in a rabbit sort of mood, I suppose and got all appetizers for her dinner, including the bread basket, mussels, and clams. She seemed to really enjoy them a lot, though she mentioned she didn't care as much for the sauce base they were both in. For drinks, I opted for a Classic Cosmopolitan and she had Prosecco. I really enjoyed my Cosmo! Almost got a second one but resisted, haha. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a nicer than average dinner out with well above average deliciousness.“

This was hands-down the best Souvlaki put-together I have had. There was no skimping on anything...the olives, feta cheese, chicken (melt in your mouth moist). The balance of flavor and ingredients were spot on.
Was not expecting such an awesome tasting, very flavourful and good size wrap from within an airport. I was not disappointed. Actually met chef as the night wound down to let him know....Awesome Job!
Carla was abosultely wonderful with all the sunshine I could ask for at 8pm indoors!! With her great hospitality and personality, great food and several glasses of red.....I closed the place with no rushing to kick me out. Will not go anywhere else except here.

The sauce tastes the exact same every time I stop in, it hasn't changed since I was a kid in the 80's and went there with my grandfather for lunch. The staff is always friendly and polite. This is a great diner and Kaisertown is "Lucky" to have it. Pun intended...“

“After cancelling a 2nd night at another hotel upon arrival because it was awful, my teen daughter and I were thrilled to arrive at the Courtyard. It was clean, parking was easy and the front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating. The lobby and the rooms seemed recently renovated and we were happy with our stay. The hotel is conveniently located and pricing was reasonable. Would recommend staying here if you need to visit the Buffalo area.“

“The Celtic Menu was planned for this week and a friend and I ordered the Seafood light cream soup and Fall salad with romaines, toasted hazelnuts, grilled orange slices,et cetera to start ! Each was so very delicious ! Before that we were given their complimentary amusebusce ( sp.? ) of their homegrown cherry tomatoes, flavored butter and asparagus. The breadbasket had Irish soda bread,and one other roll. My entree was two pieces of beautifully fried fish, and shoestring French fries,and Cole slaw. Best that I’ve ever had ! Another entree was a lamb pasty with vegetables. The crust was marvelous and the lamb gently seasoned. We could not resist the ‘pot pie’ on a light,crust with delicious vegetables. 2 desserts were offered but we must leave room for those on another visit ! The chef takes time to come out to the tables to check about the food,and the staff is VERY attentive . This was a wonderful experience, as every time we attend ! Treat yourself !“
