Sat there way too long debating the menu, then pulled the trigger on the blackened blue burger. Chips, pickle spear, simple setup. First bite? Lights out. Perfect char, juicy, blue cheese dialed in exactly right. They sneak the lettuce and tomato underneath the burger like a flavor ambush.
Didn’t take a single break between bites. Zero hesitation. Finished it, sat back, and tipped the chef like I just witnessed art.

All the sauces were flavorable. Our server made us feel right at home even though we had never been there before. You could tell this place has alot of regulars. Bartender We was friendly. “Went there for st. Patrick’s day. Couldn’t be more pleased. We had a reservation and got seated immediately. Service was fast and friendly and the food was out of this world. I think I’d sell my soul for more sticky toffee pudding. If you want an idea of their service I watched a man straight up slap a glass of beer out of the waitresses hands (he was a hand talker and it was an accident) and into the wall. She was super kind about it and someone (a manger or owner) came over and immediately changed out everything and cleaned everything up while the server got a new beer. Everyone was kind and quick about it and had I not happened to catch it out of the corner of my eye. they were so discrete Idt I would have. As a table we tried the Sheppards fries, the corned beef and cabbage, corned beef sandwich and sticky toffee pudding and all were incredible. Definitely will be back!“

“Oh my gosh, so we went out to dinner this evening after going to the movies. We went to Winfield Pub in South Buffalo. All I can say is WOW. My husband saw that it had a 4.7 star rating and we'd never been there. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. They have several different beers to offer and even some seasonal ones. Their drink menu is extensive but not daunting and their drinks are super creative. For our starters we got the hop fries with a garlic parmesan aioli which regulars call "crack sauce" I can see why....it's SO good! My husband got the Snout and Stout which is their take on french onion soup but with a pork broth and milk stout added to it with pieces of pork in it. We both tried it and that too was truly delicious it was a great spin on a classic dish. For our entrees my husband got the ribeye and I got the bbq mac and cheese. My husband loved his ribeye it was cooked perfectly and the sides were amazing. My mac and cheese was probably one of the best mac and cheeses I've ever had. They added burnt pork ends and blue cheese to it and it adds such a depth of flavor and richness this comfort food feels so fancy. I enjoyed it thoroughly. For dessert we shared a piece of their Guinness cake. Again, it was rich and delicious the frosting wasn't overly sweet. We brought a little bit of everything home and are looking forward to eating the rest of it tomorrow. Our server was absolutely lovely and so kind and funny. The chef at this restaurant is so creative and thoughtful with every aspect of the experience right down to bringing us the bill in a Christmas Card. This place is 5 stars!“

“Everytime I go here the food, drinks and atmosphere are amazing. I figured I’d take the time to finally make a review because last night we had such an awesome interaction with staff. There was a slight miscommunication that led to a delay in food. We were having so much fun that we didn’t even notice, but the staff were apologetic and kind in getting it to us.

“It's a quintessential dive bar. Not a big selection of hard liquor or beers but the essentials are there. The food menu wasn't too big either. Sadly they are a CASH ONLY place but the bartenders are great and on the ball with everything.“

“Scott was out bartender, and server the few nights we were in town. And Scott was the absolute best. The first night we were in town the hotel was packed with a hockey tournament and everyone coming in early for the last bills game. The hotel staff didn't think to staff the bar/restaurant with more than him and a cook for the night. So getting our food and his time was quite an ordeal. Two and a half hours for food from start to finish.
That being said Scott stopped by, apologized, talked with us, understood our frustration, we understood his, and we could not blame him. He made being there enjoyable for anyone that entered. A man who took a job that could make many angry for a lot of other people serious and really made sure you were taken care.“
