We had a very pleasant experience at Pizza Plant Italian Pub - Canalside. The location is especially convenient if you are staying at Courtyard by Marriott Buffalo Downtown/Canalside, as the restaurant is located in the same building.
The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick. We had a pizza and a dessert, and both were very tasty. The pizza in particular was excellent and exactly what we were hoping for.

Bartender Ryan was fantastic! Place was busy but Sabres were playing so understandable. Needed more servers during game time.
There was an event happening at the arena but we arrived early… waited a while for drinks and food
