“Took my wife here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, the food, the service and the atmosphere are top notch! Would highly recommend Ristorante Lombardo to anyone looking for a great fine dining experience in Buffalo! From the appetizers to the dessert, everything was fantastic!“

“The food was amazing. Started with the bread (kinda hate having to pay for bread but I get it! And this was good stuff) and shrimp scampi. Followed by two pastas. The food itself was absolutely delicious, light but flavorful and balanced. The short rib ragu was top notch.

One caveat, don't plan on a quick meal. This two course night took almost two hours but was worth it.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options too!“

It was a great atmosphere and delicious food with great live music to to it all off! Shannon was incredible with our food orders and entertained all our wine questions. “Always a 5-star experience at Angeline! From the moment that you arrive you'll know that you're in store for a quality experience.

The staff is always warm, helpful and professional in their approach. They know how fine dining should be.

The bar staff is also well trained and they offer a variety of craft cocktails and a nice wine selection as well.

The food is obviously the main attraction and they never disappoint. I've had many of their dishes but some of my favorites are:
Ahi Tuna Crudo
Broiled Oysters
Fazzoletto (never had rabbit this tender and delicious)
Branzino
Of course the bone in Ribeye

Finish off with an espresso martini (best in the city).

Yes, the prices are a bit high for Buffalo, however remember this is fine dining and in my opinion they are very reasonably priced for a restaurant of this caliber.

I’ve gone with different people as I felt I just had to introduce them to the Blue Cave. Everyone was amazed at the quality of the food! I have also recommended this restaurant to other friends and they have loved it! I am a huge cheese lover and you can just taste the freshness of the cheeses used. The service was efficient and friendly and I was not lacking for a thing. I enjoyed taking in the view of the downtown area while savoring my delicious wine and meal. “We recently had our twins college graduation party at Caio Caio and were extremely satisfied with the whole process from scheduling and planning (Gina) to the party itself. The food was delicious and service was exceptional. Nick and his crew were on top of their game!! Everyone had a great time and we received numerous comments on how great everything was, especially the focaccia sandwiches and mini cannolis. We live down the street and will definitely be back soon.

“Authentic Italian cuisine in a quiet setting. The staff and management were welcoming and helpful. The Pollo Milanese was delicious and mouth-watering. The Fetticini Bolognese was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was first-rate. There is also a fine selection of wines. It's definitely a recommended restaurant if you're looking for a pleasurable dining experience.

Parking: It's not a large lot, but it is a small venue, so parking is sufficient.“

“What a great restaurant!! The food was phenomenal! I had my birthday dinner at Bella Ciao and I was very impressed. The Lobster Mafalde was loaded with lobster and so delicious. The Rice Balls were out of this world. The Peanut Butter pie was the best I ever had. Also, Casey, the Manager was so accommodating and personable. She just couldn't do enough for us. “This family-owned restaurant has been a local favorite for years, and for good reason. We finally had the pleasure of dining here and were thoroughly impressed. The portion sizes are generous, the food is delicious, and the service is impeccable. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive. The interior is charming and inviting. While they don’t currently serve alcohol, it was refreshing to dine in a place where the focus is solely on the food. We’ll definitely be returning to try the Groupon Special and exploring more of their menu. They also offer takeout for those who prefer to dine at home, even when the restaurant is closed for dine-in service.“

The milanese is incredible. the salad that comes as a soup or salad choice is the best included salad ive ever had with a meal. the bread with olive oil and fava bean hummus is my favorite bread service around. Yesterday my wife had a beet salad special that was in her opinion better (by far) than the ones she has had at the western door and other "high end" restaurants. “We’re traveling in the area. My husband just learned he has a gluten sensitivity. We stopped into try the GF crust. Pasquale’s has the GF figured out. This pizza crust is the best I’ve ever tasted. I would highly recommend this pizza to anyone searching for a thicker crust, as GF and cauliflower crusts seem to always be paper thin. This is our new place to visit every time we’re in the area.“

“This place is an old school Italian restaurant that has been family owned and operated since it opened in 1946. The building is quite a bit older than that though and served as a movie theater before it became a restaurant. Also, the 1980 James Caan film, Hide in Plain Sight, which took place and was filmed in Buffalo had some scenes filmed at this restaurant. Anyways this place is very simple. You walk in and there are several red and white checkered table clothed tables and an older looking bar that is fully stocked. They also have a good sized flat screen TV up on the wall above the bar that you can watch. From the bar you can see a very small and simple looking kitchen area where they home make all of the food.“

“Great lunch! I ordered the meatball parm sandwich. I really appreciated that the meatballs and sauce were not overdone with seasoning. The seasoning complemented rather than dominated. The sandwich comes with a pickle spear and a choice of potato salad or macaroni salad. I chose the latter. The mac salad was very tasty. My biggest pleasure was the dill pickle. It was terrific - crunchy and not overwhelmed by the spices or vinegar. It was more akin to the store-bought Clausen brand pickle. Well done!“

“Gotta give it to Pistachio’s for being one, if not, the best place to eat on campus. The pasta there is amazing, especially compared to the pastas in the dining halls. Go for their Alfredo sauce. Thing is that you gotta make sure you place your order fast before everyone else does or else you’re gonna be waiting for a while. They got good pasta after all. Problem is that, again, like almost all other CDS places, the quantity is terrible. You do not get enough for what you’re paying for.“

“The Celtic Menu was planned for this week and a friend and I ordered the Seafood light cream soup and Fall salad with romaines, toasted hazelnuts, grilled orange slices,et cetera to start ! Each was so very delicious ! Before that we were given their complimentary amusebusce ( sp.? ) of their homegrown cherry tomatoes, flavored butter and asparagus. The breadbasket had Irish soda bread,and one other roll. My entree was two pieces of beautifully fried fish, and shoestring French fries,and Cole slaw. Best that I’ve ever had ! Another entree was a lamb pasty with vegetables. The crust was marvelous and the lamb gently seasoned. We could not resist the ‘pot pie’ on a light,crust with delicious vegetables. 2 desserts were offered but we must leave room for those on another visit ! The chef takes time to come out to the tables to check about the food,and the staff is VERY attentive . This was a wonderful experience, as every time we attend ! Treat yourself !“
