“Went there for st. Patrick’s day. Couldn’t be more pleased. We had a reservation and got seated immediately. Service was fast and friendly and the food was out of this world. I think I’d sell my soul for more sticky toffee pudding. If you want an idea of their service I watched a man straight up slap a glass of beer out of the waitresses hands (he was a hand talker and it was an accident) and into the wall. She was super kind about it and someone (a manger or owner) came over and immediately changed out everything and cleaned everything up while the server got a new beer. Everyone was kind and quick about it and had I not happened to catch it out of the corner of my eye. they were so discrete Idt I would have. As a table we tried the Sheppards fries, the corned beef and cabbage, corned beef sandwich and sticky toffee pudding and all were incredible. Definitely will be back!“

“I’m so glad I stumbled upon Duende during a quick trip to Buffalo. Tucked away in an industrial stretch where you’d never expect to find such a lively bar scene, it turned out to be a real gem. Gabriel, the bartender, was incredibly warm and attentive, and the mix of locals and live musicians gave the place a cozy, lived‑in charm. The food was genuinely good, too. A wonderful surprise all around.“

Ariel our server was simply amazing. Attentive but not overbearing- she provided excellent wine recommendations and expertly filleted a fish table-side.

The food and wine was exquisite, and the atmosphere is perfect. Just enough artwork, finished washrooms, fine details with the menus and table settings.

“A fun newer bar for the 35+ crowd! This place has such an upbeat vibe and I’m here for it. Plenty of parking in front of and around the bar, friendly staff and good food and drinks. The music is always on point and you meet so many outgoing people who know how to have a great time. The owners love mingling with patrons-very good sign that they care about you & make the effort to welcome you. Great selection of spirits and tasty food.

At the recommendation of my bartender, Brittney, I ordered the cheeseburger and fries and a Shirley Temple. The burger was so big and juicy and the fries were outstanding. I was so busy chatting with strangers that I couldn’t finish it all so I took my leftovers home and the reheat-ability was superb. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Duende is a fantastic venue for events! We recently used the Cantina space for a professional event of about 70 guests, and it was wonderful. The space was beautiful, with plenty of seating, microphone setup, and our own bar.

We also hold our annual school ball in the Bin Room, and the space is always amazing. The Duende staff is wonderful to work with- friendly, attentive, and very accommodating throughout the planning process and day of the event.

“This place is a typical dive bar. Clean yet dark and dingey. Cheap booze! And not in quality. A jack and coke is $2.75 The staff and regulars are amazing. But don't believe google. The menu is a lie. No food is offered here. Except bags of chips or cracker packs.“
