Turning Bridge Tavern is a classic Western New York tavern brought back to life, located on Niagara Street in the Black Rock neighborhood of Buffalo. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxed, and refreshingly unpretentious. The cool horseshoe-shaped bar anchors the space, with an original looking and beautiful wooden bar and a friendly bartender. The draft selection is excellent, with several beers on tap and many more in the cooler including Red Stripe. The full bar ensures there is something for everyone. There are lite bites available and homemade. The patio is delightful on a warm summer evening, and the place is great to hang out with friends. Live music is on the board, including a twice a month Friday night Reggae night with a live band and no cover. Other types of bands are scheduled to play all month. Owners Mo and Joe are amazing hosts who are very kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is a step back into your father’s tavern, with great drink prices and good vibes. Definitely worth checking out their entertainment.
