Grab a fresh glass and select and pour your own brew choice - whether an ounce or a full glass. A selection of wines and hard ciders were also available. “My friend and I went there for drinks for the first time last night. We searched Googles for new cocktail bars in the area, and this place popped up. It was a great time. The cocktails were very well crafted. We didn't get food. The atmosphere was fun. A mix of the younger generation and older consumers were there. We had fun and also met up with a few other friends. “Went today for my first time. My bartender was the owner she was literally the best. The dog was the cutest meatball ever. I tried the cider flight and was extremely happy. The flight was 12$ the whole menu affordable and the atmosphere was fantastic. 10/10 would recommend.“

“Had a really great experience here. If you like seafood, you have to try the Filetto di Bronzino. The dish was huge, and every aspect of the dish was completely amazing. I don't normally like tomatoes and olives, and I'm not the biggest fan of asparagus, however it was all delicious thanks to the white wine & lemon sauce. The sauce brought everything together like gravy on Thanksgiving. The fish and the mashed potatoes were out of this world, and I was especially impressed with how well everything in the dish went together. Olives and tomatoes, asparagus and olives, mashed potatoes and bass: no matter what you combine on your fork, it was amazing. A year ago my wife and I were enjoying seafood in Aruba, and this dish really took me back there. It cost $38 but I would have paid double. The waitress was really nice and attentive.“

“Updated 7/2/2023 We have been back several times over the years and it just keeps getting better! We were in last night and had some incredible food. The wine was amazing as always. If you haven't been and you are looking for noteworthy wine and delicious food this is the place to go. Can't wait to go back!!What a great find! Can't wait to go back, this will be our new spot. We had a couple of glasses of wine that was recommended by the bartender Pete - He was spot on! The wine selection was simple but high quality, something for everyone. To be honest, parking right in front of the building on Franklin St is *supposed* to be city street parking with meters, but some ppl have said they park there constantly and never pay anything (at least not in the afternoon/evening). Your call if you want to risk it. You can also pay $30 for the lot next door, if you really need some peace of mind.Wheelchair accessibility: Although the upper floors won't be accessible, the ground floor doors are accessibly wide and swing light on their hinges. The bathrooms can be a little snug to get thru the doors, but there are of course accessible stalls when thru those.“

“Misuta Chow’s is a unique, super cool and fun Japanese street food and cocktail bar downtown. The food and cocktails are delicious and there is an arcade upstairs as well as a glittery pink staircase which is famous for photos. Since this space does so many things there is somewhat limited seating for dining. If you want to try the food I’d recommend getting a reservation or you can also try your luck for bar seating, which is first come first served.We were in the area and had not planned dinner so we decided to pop in and got lucky with some bar seats. We ordered Sesame noodles, Shio ramen and Yakitori skewers donburi bowl. The sesame noodles was a cold noodle dish, highly recommended by a friend. The flavor was light and delicious with a healthy helping of sesame oil. The ramen was wonderful. They prob have my favorite ramen in the area. Light and flavorful broth, perfectly cooked pork belly, noodles with the perfect amount of chew and some crunchy baby corn, bok choy and scallion for freshness. Finally the yakitori skewer bowl which combined chicken thighs in a bowl of rice, and pickled veggies. The chicken had a wonderful glaze, was juicy and perfectly cooked. And the pickled veggies were a perfect way to balance out the meal.Service was great but I will point out that this place gets packed. We did not feel ignored by the staff but sometimes it took a little while to get their attention which is completely understandable. We enjoyed people watching while we waited for our check. We have been here before and have enjoyed everything else we sampled on their unique menu. They also offer some neat cocktails which are pretty reasonably priced. This place is neat and we are lucky to have it here. Stop in and experience something new!“

“What a delightfully unexpected treat!Italian outside of the immediate NYC area is always a little uncertain, but honestly I couldn't have been happier with this absolute gem.For starters, our waitress was a peach, very boisterous and absolutely delightful, quick and yet still apologized for the non-existent delay, and super helpful. She gave great advice and pointed out something on the menu I missed, which I ended up ordering (the lasagna).The food was absolutely fantastic. This is hands down one of the best marinara sauces I've ever had, and if my aunt heard that she'd kill me for it. “My husband and I had the best dinner ever at the Dog Bar on New Year’s Eve. I had surf and turf and he had the sea bass. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service couldn’t have been better! “Outstanding experience, best wings, and handcut fries in Buffalo. The wait times might be long but your food is brought as soon as it is ready as well as "ordered". Two spots to order from being the bar and one of the 12 tables located behind the hostess. Expect wait times of an hour at open and some open seats by 7/7:30. Went on a Saturday and had a great time talking to both tourists and locals. Order a drink so that the wait feels less like an hour and a half and more like twenty-five minutes. Cannot wait to come back and try the HOT wings as opposed to MEDIUM. They are known for their hot sauce.“

The owner Greg was bartending and filled us in on the history of the place having closed in the 80s until he opened up in the 2000s. There's no having to pretend to be old timey, the vinyl on the bar, the stools, and the walls covered in Utica Club and Schlitz is authentic to the place. We went for the Tom & Jerry's and I have to say they are one of the best in town, unlike a lot of places though they aren't pushing out big batches of the batter so you want to get there early to make sure you don't miss out! They serve them until new years. We weren't there long before the friendly patrons offered to get us a shot, everyone was so inviting and made us feel so welcome. Greg too. Tables were nice and clean, and some tunes playing in the place. Ordered a cheese pizza (cause what kid can say no to cheese pizza), bbq wings and some fries. Wings were perfectly cooked, great bbq sauce and the best part is they were nice and crispy. Fries, again good portion and cooked nice and crispy. That pizza though, must be cooked in a magic oven. Perfection. Probably one of the better pizzas I've had in a while. This place is not a well kept secret, so come early if there's an event going on.“
