“Haven't had a bad meal at Skoobs! Wings are some of the best in WNY. Recommend the Andreesen Gold sauce but all that I've had have been excellent. They have great fries, really good beef, homemade chicken fingers are excellent. Friendly staff are the only type I've encountered here. If you haven't yet, give them a try.“

“This is bar food at its best! Easy parking. Fast service with excellent recommendations. My husband ordered the western cheeseburger. Even the bun was lightly toasted. I had the quesadilla with fries. There were LOTS of crinkled fries. My dad ordered 1/2 hot and Cajun hot which was a good balance. Learned about double dipped wings. He enjoyed them! My stepson honey mustard Cajun and hot wings. He couldn't pick a favorite. They had a nice crunch to them.“

“We went for Sunday brunch. We had a group of 7. Staff was very attentive, putting tables together so we had more room, right there to pick up empty plates, friendly with customers. The food was plentiful and delicious. We will be returning, we have already chosen a date.“

They also have a lady that does a craft night every month, which is cool, I've done 2 so far last two we painted gnomes, tomorrow we'll be doing a buffalo bills snowman porch leaner. Definitely recommend if you don't want to drink at a bar with drama, and want to just meet nice people.“

“Alton Brown of Good eats on food TV. Once famously said at once a place becomes famous for a thing. They quickly become the worst at making it.
This is unfortunately far too true for anchor bar.
At the time of my service, the wings were not thoroughly cooked so some of the wings were still cold inside and the fries taste it as if they had been sitting for quite some time. The sauce was just so so and being a born and raised buffalo native I hope this lends gravity to what I state.
Whereas The original anchor bar may have been the innovators of Buffalo Wings. There are so many others that have far surpassed it.
While the customer service is outstanding, the atmosphere is very welcoming and despite being in the airport the service is fast and friendly.
But I don't know how many times you can say for a restaurant... come for the service but stay despite the food.“

“Beef station closes at a certain time so we were not able to try beef on weck. Tight space and it can get loud on the weekends (as expected. No issue there). The waitress seemed a bit overworked but she was sweet.

Food was excellent. Arrived hot & fresh. Cannot wait to return!“

The food may seem like what you have seen on a menu before, but their take on it is absolutely fabulous! I have never had a clam chowder like the one served here. It is amazing! I would return for the clam chowder alone. The sweet potato fries may look typical, but their taste-like nothing I have ever had before. Not sure what their secret seasoning is. The wings rock. We left with doggy bags because we didn’t want to waste any of the delicious food! The chicken piccata, chicken Parmesan- might want to consider sharing! If you have been here before 2023 and been disappointed, you need to revisit! Trust me! And bring even the most finicky of your teens! They will be happy as well!“

“Stopped here for lunch and had a great meal. The Salty Buffalo plate is a beef on weck (Costanza’s roll-always delish) and 5 wings. Highly recommend this as a lunch or dinner option. Also had the drink special - Moscow Mule which was yummy 😋
My friend had the pulled pork with blackberry BBQ sauce and raved at the taste.
Everything was delicious although the medium wings could have been spicier - would order them hot next time.
The bar and dining area are just what you expect from a sports bar - lots of bar stools and tables that face the TV if you want to watch a game.
Would definitely stop in again - gotta try that BBQ pork sandwich“

“Hands down amazing food. we stopped in after a long day of shopping and I am so glad we did. the service was great. the food was honest to God phenomenal. so good that we all shared bites to appreciate how yummy our food was. My dog was accepted at outdoor seating and I was even allowed to take her out in the field for some fetch after we ordered. Don't drive by... STOP in and grab a bite... you won't be disappointed!!
