Recently went to the Henrietta, NY location and Brandon was an awesome host that took care of my family. We sat in the front corner booth which was perfect for the kids. “My wife and I spent a week at the Asa Ransom House from Christmas Day through New Year’s Day. The location is perfect for us as our family lives very close, also you can walk to restaurants in the Clearance hollow and the town park. A short drive to Williamsville and Buffalo. The hospitality, cleanliness and spacious comfortably rooms (ours with fireplace) made this holiday week very special. Meals have been decent as well, service takes a bit of time understanding because the restaurant/ bar is in the heart of Williamsville NY and has alot of traffic locals and visitors.SO my critique on the food and service is decent.As for the past now 2nd year of music on main security has been hired and 10 cover after 7 has been initiated for all.As well a 2 hr window to sit and enjoy music is enforced even though bands are booked from 6 to 9.
WE observed elders being told they need to evacuate a tables even if they just had guests join and ppl were spending money at the table between food and cocktails
IF you even try to make the security and management understand you are not done with the dining and music experience they escort you out and with verbal force.Security maintains they are following management orders. Perhaps this protocal needs to change.Again let me preface each individual was ordering meals and drinks and are regulars in the Buffalo music scene for over decades without any problems.
HONESTLY who wants to be in a environment where elders are being evicted from a table just because a protocal of 2 hr seating during a 3 hr musical event is going on.Keeping in mind also not all tables were being utilized. I believe in gentle prompting, if there is waiting lines for a table that there is a 2 hr protocal. As I say gentle prompting but with verbal force and a get up now philosophy with a removal from venue.Very sad when elders are abused over a protocal.There you have it enter with the understanding this is what happens at the Irishman expecially on Thursday music in main. Spoken in a good mind for community awareness.“

“We went last night to Kone king and had a great experience. On fridays we celebrate our son Felix and call it “Felix fridays” where we do something fun with him. Decided on Kone king last night. Our son ordered his ice cream and the staff clapped and celebrated “Felix friday” and the one worker said she had something special for Felix and it was a color changing spoon- to a 5 year old that was the coolest thing ever. I just wanna say thank you to the staff for really brightening Felix Friday for us, it made it a magical evening for our sweet boy. ♥️“

The choices for food is very limited, but at least they have a couple things which are filling and quick and easy. They say their chicken sandwich is one of the best but it’s just a plain old sandwich lol the tater tots weren’t crispy at all either. I did come for the beer and the beer did not disappoint. I really enjoyed my date and would come back. They also have outdoor seating when the weather is nicer, which I want to try.“

“We arrived without a reservation on a very busy Saturday evening for dinner. Seated in a timely manner. Staff was pleasant, courteous and professional considering how busy the Inn was. We were served our dinners within a short wait time. Our meals were served in a pleasant and appetizing presentation, everything was prepared nicely and the tastes to everything was very good. “Stopped in this evening after a day on the slopes with my son the service and atmosphere was amazing. Food was delicious and just what we wanted after being out in the cold. We would recommend this place for a family dinner or casual outing“
