I do want to try and find just the right combination and they do their double dipped. I think finding just the perfect style to your own makes a huge difference. “I really wanted to love this place. I had been there years ago, first as the Port of Entry and then as Byblos and after seeing so many glowing reviews I definitely wanted to return to a new experience at Two Forks Up. First off, walking in the door it was obvious that nothing had been updated since I was there probably 20 years ago or more. The ancient wallpaper peeling off the walls wasn’t really a nostalgic charming look. The whole entryway could use some work.
I chose this restaurant for my birthday because of the seafood. I ordered the lobster roll and my husband had the fish fry which he enjoyed. The sidewinder fries were unique and delicious. My lobster roll which the menu describes as “ tossed with butter” was disappointing. The lobster was a bit chewy and halfway through it I was wanting some melted butter to dip it in. I was surprised that it was not served with a small cup of melted butter and did get some on request. I ordered key lime pie for dessert and again was slightly disappointed. My first bite gave me the impression that it had been refrigerated uncovered as the top was slightly dried out, just not what I expected.
All in all it was OK but I wouldn’t make the trip back again. The lobster roll I had at Old Man River this summer was actually better.“

“Went for a Sunday brunch and got the Huevos Rancheros and was pleasantly surprised by how good and delicious it was. I also had the Gypsy Juice as my beverage, along with some Pastelitos (beef) shared for the table. Those were just OK to me and I've had better elsewhere. My party and I sat outside for a nice day out on the patio and some people watching, and despite being the only ones out there while we were dining, we still had great service from our server.“

I live in the area and it’s nice to not have to travel far for a good tap. The only thing I really think they need to improve is the parking lot. The restaurant and bar were very busy but no excuse for the disorganization we experienced. Probably won't go back as Buffalo has many Italian restaurants with better food, atmosphere and prices. I’ve been there twice in the past decade and was for/after the death of my Grandfather Kenneth Hartel Sr, and Kenneth Hartel Jr his son whom died only months later. I came in and was like a family I’ve never met. They took care of my family and I. I hope to take my daughter up there soon.“
