Angeline Reviews
It’s been two weeks since my visit and I’m still thinking about my experience.
Ariel our server was simply amazing. Attentive but not overbearing- she provided excellent wine recommendations and expertly filleted a fish table-side.
The food and wine was exquisite, and the atmosphere is perfect. Just enough artwork, finished washrooms, fine details with the menus and table settings.
Worth every penny.

The first thing we noticed was the noise followed by how closely the tables were spaced. Having a high end hearing aid with AI noise reduction, I could understand my wife while she, with perfect hearing, had a hard time hearing me.

Everything was great. Only thing is they don't have a large alcohol choice.

Angeline is a well-known restaurant that provides a high-level dining experience. The food is fantastic, with dishes cooked to perfection and presented in an appealing way. The menu includes options such as ahi tuna appetizer, prosciutto appetizer, shareable fingerling potatoes, veal chop, branzino, strip steak, cheesecake, and affogato. Some dishes, like the fingerling potatoes with jalapenos and the strip steak, may have minor imperfections, but the veal chop and polenta beignets are highly recommended.
The restaurant is in a beautifully restored home, with much of the original architecture still visible, adding to its cozy charm. The service is top notch and seems very well orchestrated, contributing to a relaxed and steady atmosphere. The dining room is warm, softly lit, and inviting, making it a comfortable place for all, including families with young children. The dress code is casual and not strictly enforced, and the temperature is maintained at a perfect level.
Angeline offers an impressive wine list, and its desserts are delicious, although some guests have suggested a touch less sweetness. The overall experience is enjoyable and offers good value for the price. The ambiance and vibe of the restaurant are stunning, and many visitors consider it one of the best in Buffalo, known for high-level service and catering. The restaurant provides a memorable dining experience with a warm, welcoming environment.
