The food was The bomb, the drinks was the bomb, the waitress was the bomb !!
We had great service and yummy food!
I have been to JT’s before and had excellent food and service but this time my family and I went for my nephew’s graduation and the food was terrible and we usually don’t complain. My sister had sunny side up eggs that look like they were fried to a crisp on a dirty sidewalk. We asked them if they could warm up these dry cinnamon rolls they gave us and they brought the cinnamon rolls back BURNT which I felt they did on purpose. JT’s Urban Italian is located in the heart of the Elmwood Village. It is a very classy, cozy, and welcoming spot for a romantic dinner with a great, fun, and positive atmosphere. The place is live and not snobby.
The food is amazing and they never disappoint. Must-try dishes include the crab cakes, roasted beet salad, and the pizza. The fruti de mare with linguine, shrimp, mussels, and clams is to die for, as is the salmon. The black spaghetti is incredible and the fiore is the best in Buffalo. They also have a great wine list and menu items for every price range.
While not a cheap place to eat, it is 100% worth every penny. The service is great, faithful, kind, and attentive without being intrusive. The wait staff seems to like their job and brings a positive vibe. This restaurant attracts those positive vibes and is one at the top of the area.
