Frankie and Dustin always have great recommendations for drinks and are so sweet and welcoming to everyone, you can tell they’re very beloved by all patrons. “Party of 6. Drinks are fantastic. Food not so much and here is why. If you are in the large lounge where we were, your tables are low round coffee tables, so you eat hunched over for something like a beet salad which ended up more on the floor than in our mouths. Charcuterie tray is scant and feeds 2 at best. The oysters were watery and the taste was slightly off. We ordered 8 small plates and everyone said we are gonna need an ABV run for dinner. So I recommend small parties - no more than 4, else you will collide with the next group of tables. Great place for drinks but plan as pre or post dinner stop over like you would Savoy.“

“We had our daughter‘s baby shower here this past weekend. They were amazing. Lauran was very intentive to all of our needs, and her staff was great. They took great care of us. My daughter and son-in-law were very pleased with where I chose to have their baby shower and everyone raved about how good the finger foods were. I got the special the mama drew which was chicken cutlet with some vodka sauce on an Italian bread, and the only thing I’d change would be to provide extra sauce on the side and maybe a softer bread. But overall very good!!!“

“I alway enjoy whatever cocktail I get from Ballyhoo, and my last visit there was no different. One of the best bars in town in my opinion with very reasonably priced drinks and excellent customer service. Not a very large bar space, but definitely worth checking out. They do serve a limited food menu as well, but I have not tried any yet.“

“Now so far I've only had the chicken tenders and fries 🍟. I can day they both were very good . You can tell it was fried in fresh oil . Not greasy and fries perfectly crisp.
The service I'm regretful to say was way too 🐌 slow.
Understandable he's a first time business owner to include a very wonderful person at that . Just opened a couple months ago. I think he will get the hang of things. The service will improve.

Beautiful interior, however the service was inattentive and awkward. Our glasses were face down on the bare table which is a big no-no in restaraunt business, they should be face up or with a napkin underneath. Also the owners + family were all lounging at the end of the bar, they all were kind of watching over everyone eating the whole time which makes it uncomfortable. At a nice restaurant nobody wants to feel surveilled or judged. It needs to feel intimate and private. But the food really was amazing. “Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“
