“This place is perfect but I have literally only 1 complaint, and this is why I only rated it 4 stars instead of 5: the bathroom doors NEED to be replaced. The food, service and atmosphere are outstanding, but the bathroom doors simply don’t work. I tried 3 different stalls and all 3 doors wouldn’t shut properly. Please fix this, but keep everything else the same! :)“
“I went out for dinner and a few drinks with a friend from work. We had a good meal and the price was more than fair. The service was excellent more than one server went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of and they still managed to do it in an unobtrusive manner.“
“This pace is a pub, not a restaurant. I don't like sitting at high tables. I was unhappy that no regular tables are offered, so we opted to eat at the bar. It's got a great atmosphere and it seems like a fun place to drink. However, we went there for dinner because it's a historical landmark and the the oldest continually licensed bar Canada. I was disappointed with the limited menu, and disappointed with quality of the food. In their defense though, a server friend later said to me, "You expected a good meal, but you went to bar that serves food, when you should have gone to a restaurant that serves alcohol." Stop in for the atmosphere and a good drink, but pass it by if you want a pleasant dining experience.“
“Walked in for a special leap day dinner (special because I proposed, and she said yes!) and my partner and I were so impressed! The food and drinks were incredible, and the staff were absolutely phenomenal! Big shout out to Noah for making the evening an absolute joy! “Best mac and cheese that I've had in my entire life! Oh my goodness! We had the regular mac with pulled pork, unreal. We also had the Deviled eggs (really delicious and interesting take on a classic), and fried&Nashville chicken sandwiches (amazing, of course). The 3 cocktails we had were perfect. Atmosphere was nice and tied in well with the cuisine, and the staff were really helpful, informative and nice. Really wonderful spot!“
