“An absolute gem in Oakville!
XIII Restaurant completely exceeded my expectations. Everything from the ambiance to the service and food was next level. The moment I walked in, I could tell this place takes pride in every detail.
A huge shoutout to Jaz, our waiter, who made the entire experience feel personal and effortless. Their energy, timing, and genuine care were top notch, the kind of service that makes you want to come back again and again.
And Chef Michael, what an artist! Every dish was perfection, beautifully presented, perfectly balanced, and full of bold flavor. You can tell there’s passion and creativity behind every plate that comes out of that kitchen.
If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers true fine dining with heart, XIII is it. Oakville is lucky to have this place. Can’t wait to come back!“

“We celebrated New Year at GameTime Social Vaughan, and it was an absolute blast for kids and parents alike! The food service was excellent. Even though it was a busy party night, our food arrived in about 5 minutes, which was impressive. Highly recommend GameTime Social Vaughan for kids' parties and family celebrations! 🥳“

“The meal itself was good — no complaints about the food. Everything tasted fine and was prepared well. However, the service was really strange. I was there on a first date, and we were interrupted constantly. Four different servers came by to ask if everything was okay — and each of them did it multiple times. It felt like we were interrupted at least 15–16 times throughout the evening. I've honestly never experienced anything like that before. I understand checking in on guests, but this was excessive and made it hard to relax and enjoy the conversation. Overall, the experience was just okay because of that. Good food, but the service approach really needs some balance.“

“We had one of the best dinners we’ve ever eaten at this restaurant, and we are foodies so that is saying something. The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere and ambiance was intimate and classy. But let’s talk about the FOOD! Ugh! I splurged and tried the certified A5 Kobe, and it did not disappoint! It was incredibly buttery, tender, and perfectly cooked to temp, I couldn’t get enough. We’ve been to Japan and had A5 Kobe and Wagyu, and this was right up top with the cuts we had there. The sides were nothing short of phenomenal! We also had the sushi assortment with maki, nigiri and sashimi and it was mouth watering. I wish we lived right next door to this place, but I guess it’s better for my wallet that we don’t. If you’re considering eating here, DO IT!“

“We are here on a Tuesday evening for the 2 can Dine for $69.99. What a deal! My husband and I shared a large Caesar salad ( had to take some home), followed by a sirloin steak cooked to my liking on a stone. I was able to take my time slicing off sumptuous portions of the sirloin steak and let it cook on a hot stone to my liking. The vegetables that came with the steak were perfect and so was the baked potato. You could have French fries or mashed if you want. THEN!!! The dessert was either Lava Chocolate cake or cheesecake. Sooooo good and just enough! You can’t buy this kind of food at a grocery store for $35 a person! We will be back! Tuesdays at Lot 88 in Burlington. What a deal!!!!! “It was a dinner visit. We were served by Jen and ahe was outstanding at her job. She was absolutely amazing and courteous. The food served was delicious and I can totally recommend the food to everyone. They have a beautiful spread to choose from and all the items we ordered were perfect.

“Our dinner experience was great. Food was tasty, service was good as well. Food came surprisingly fast in compare to our earlier experience, which is very nice as we were pretty hungry. Ambience was very nice as well. Our waitress was very nice and understanding. She made sure our kids get food without spices. Overall very nice.“

“I went to Laylak for the first time over the weekend for a birthday celebration. From the moment I was seated, our waiter, Mo, was taking care of everything. The attention given by him was top notch. The restaurant is beautifully designed. The vibe was very mellow/cozy. We ordered the Ramadan chef special. The order started with a generous trio of dips, salad and appetizers. All of which were very fresh and tasty. The mains were kebabs of lamb, chicken and beef which were all perfectly seasoned. For dessert we had a pudding infused with rose water. I would definitely recommend this place.“
