“Fries were delicious, my favorite was the herbed fries. A bit salty but ok for something once in a while.We got 3 different chicken sandwiches, I got the cartelio, was delicious. We had a 5 min drive home so wasn't as crispy as I was hoping. My husband had a picalito, just the right amount of heat, my son had the OMG, and he said it was so spicy, couldn't even finish and he likes spicy things.”

“I came here with my husband and we are super happy to have come across Sidra and he is very kind and welcoming. We tried the regular chicken shawarma and the tandoori chicken shawarma and it was delicious. A very good shawarma after a long time, 10/10! They also make this in house sauce which you can even purchase to take home, and it’s probably the best sauce I have tried and I use it with all my foods at home (burgers, sandwiches, etc.) We’re already on our 2nd bottle!”

We were so full we had to pack most of it but everything was very good. Our server was Amy and she was amazing. I booked a table, we ordered shisha, food and hot beverages. The server punched in our order but I guess the kitchen forgot to bring out the fatoush salad. We ended up having to go so when I asked for the bill, I advised the server of the missing order. He removed it off our bill, apologized and on our way out offered us complimentary rice pudding for take out. I thanked him but kindly declined, for there was no room left for dessert ahaha…As if that wasn’t enough, the manager (older gentleman with glasses and a pony-tail always at the front) once he found out what happened, followed me all the way to the parking lot, to my car, personally apologized and reiterated if there’s anything else he can accommodate on our next visit. I never got his name but thank you, and to all the staff. Your humble sincerity has earned you a customer for life. God bless !”

We ordered Trio dip hummus, muhammara, baba ghanoush which is served with hot pita bread. The muhammara is so good. “I went with a friend,she assured me of the restaurants authenticity,and superb food. She was 100 percent correct. I'm somewhat of a foodie,and most times I don't dine out,as I can usually make it better at home. This place is the exception to that rule. We started with a crostini,with olive oil,and piped ricotta on top. Figs were displayed on top of the cheese,with a few herb sprigs. So beautifully displayed,and equally delishish. The calamari was cooked to perfection,both breaded and sauted,with a refreshing lemon aoli. Once again beautiful presentation. Not that we needed more food,but our mains came,and even though we were stuffed already,we managed to eat almost all of it,with a little leftovers for lunch the next day. The pasta was the best I've ever had,sauced and cooked perfectly. My friend had a chicken dish,which was one of the specials,it was just as satisfying. Becouse we could not resist,we finished the evening with 2 desserts,cheesecake and chocolate mousse,they both looked like they were staged for a food magazine,and so amazing in taste. We got to meet the chef Nate,he was lovely,and so very skilled as a chef,a true craftsman. The atmosphere was upbeat,and wonderful staff,especially our waiter Jack. We watched the pizzas being made as it was open concept,those men were also very skilled,and the pizzas looked like the best I have ever seen. I ordered one to take home,and I was right,it was the best. These restaurants are very few and far between,a true one of a kind,a gem.....thank you all,to Jack our waiter too,for making our night memorable.”

“As a 71st birthday celebration we went to Hoseki Oakville for the Premium Omakase dinner. It was super expensive, but also one of the two best meals of my life. I've never had better, fresher or different fish in any other sushi restaurant I've visited. The variety of textures and flavors were amazing. I can't begin to describe the meal adequately . But beware, it will empty your wallet. Well worth the price for a special occasion. Many kudos to Chef Tim for his wonderful preparations!”

“The Tim Hortons I wanted to comment on doesn’t have a Facebook like page. It’s down the street. The esso gas station off of burloak and harvester. I am a regular customer, I come in every single morning at 5-5:30am. The staff is seriously fantastic! The manger there, or supervisor (not sure what role she plays) I believe her name it Katrina or kate. Every morning she greets me and wishes me the best day at work. I came in Friday and I had gone to a different Tim’s the day before and I had my whole order wrong. She happily replaced it and apologized on behalf of Tim Hortons that my order was wrong! I look forward to seeing her every morning, she always has a smile on her face, and a positive attitude (which is hard to find in management staff sometimes). Theirs always a full display of good treats, and all the staff is always motivated to help you with your order! Just wanted to share! Sometimes good people need the recognition they deserve!”

“We were walking along Lakeshore and noticed this market, below street level. What a delightful little shop! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We bought a selection to bring home, and had a wonderful supper of dolmades and stuffed peppers, saving the spanokopita for tomorrow's lunch. I love the Mediterranean flavours, so rich and complex, yet light and delicious. Everything was so fresh and carefully prepared. We'll be back for sure, next time we're in Oakville!”

But I wouldn't say it's anything mind blowing or better than your average Mexican style fast food. It's pretty standard and what you would expect. There are others I like better. Not a 5 star, don't go expecting to be blown away, but expect good food and prices!Spicy BBQ chicken wasn't spicy but had a nice flavour. Not overly salty and could use more guac. Supreme fries could use more meat and were a bit salty.Restaurant itself is very clean and wasn't too busy when I went for lunch on a Saturday. Owner is very friendly!”

I had the fish Tacos, which were excellent and my friend said his Seared Ahi Tuna Crunch was also excellent.Without us asking, the manager, Graham, came to apologize for the long delay and took care of the food items for us.The food was great, the server dropped the ball (it happens) and the manager pro-actively remedied the situation. “This review isn’t about the food, as it is delicious to begin with, more to reveal the genuine and exceptional level of service that impressed me tonight. I booked a table, we ordered shisha, food and hot beverages. The server punched in our order but I guess the kitchen forgot to bring out the fatoush salad. We ended up having to go so when I asked for the bill, I advised the server of the missing order. He removed it off our bill, apologized and on our way out offered us complimentary rice pudding for take out. I thanked him but kindly declined, for there was no room left for dessert ahaha…As if that wasn’t enough, the manager (older gentleman with glasses and a pony-tail always at the front) once he found out what happened, followed me all the way to the parking lot, to my car, personally apologized and reiterated if there’s anything else he can accommodate on our next visit. I had the fish Tacos, which were excellent and my friend said his Seared Ahi Tuna Crunch was also excellent.Without us asking, the manager, Graham, came to apologize for the long delay and took care of the food items for us.The food was great, the server dropped the ball (it happens) and the manager pro-actively remedied the situation. We started with a crostini,with olive oil,and piped ricotta on top. Figs were displayed on top of the cheese,with a few herb sprigs. So beautifully displayed,and equally delishish. The calamari was cooked to perfection,both breaded and sauted,with a refreshing lemon aoli. Once again beautiful presentation. Beer lineup could also offer a bit more variety considering it wasn't one of those breweries that only offers you 4 beers to choose from. “Went to Borgo for lunch with my husband and two children on Saturday and let me tell you, it was absolutely fantastic! I had the Parpadelle Funghi and it was soooo good I probably could of eaten more! The freshest and lightest tasting pasta. We had polpette and rice balls to start. So fresh and delicious. My husband and children had pasta with red sauce and they said it was also fresh and delicious. I could tell they loved it due to the dipping in the sauce with the bread! The staff was very friendly and helpful and asked numerous times if we needed anything. We will absolutely be back and will definitely recommend this fine dining restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.”

“I went there last night. I ordered my food. I was told it will be ready in 30 mins. I got at the 35 mins mark paid and was told it will be just a few mins . After 15 mins of waiting i asked how long my food will be and was told it was being packed up. After another 5 I told then I had to leave and was told it was just coming . I waited a few more and just asked for my money back. It took them a few minutes and the manager came out and got me money but asked me to wait just a few more minutes and would bring the food to my car complimentary. I said fair enough. I left a very decent tip on the counter and waited out front where. No body brought the food . I went back in and the girl said we looked for and couldn’t find you . She went to see where my food was and never came back. I left grab my tip that was still in the counter and left . This place is ridiculous. Nothing more to say.”

We tried the regular chicken shawarma and the tandoori chicken shawarma and it was delicious. A very good shawarma after a long time, 10/10!
