“Just came back from a celebratory birthday lunch! I have to say this place is AMAZING. Thank goodness they are only 10 mins away from me! Right away I noticed the lovely decor and ambiance! And they have the CUTEST authentic hand crafted ramen spoons! We had the meal for 4 which was absolutely PERFECT for us. The broth in all the dishes was excellent with just the perfect amount of spice. Love the vegetarian options! We had great service and food was served promptly. Will definitely visit again! “Gladiator Burger exceeded our expectations! We were visiting from the States with a family group of 10 people, and everything about our experience was excellent. The service was incredibly fast — as soon as we sat down and placed our order, the food was ready in about 10 minutes. Despite how quickly it came out, everything was fresh, hot, and made perfectly.
I ordered the True Emperor with beef and chicken, and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were great, the portions were generous, and everyone in our group enjoyed their meals.
Highly recommend for both locals and visitors looking for delicious burgers and outstanding service!”

Honestly, all the meats were amazing, and you can tell they use the best quality ingredients. I wanted to keep eating, but my stomach just couldn’t handle any more. That’s how good it was! The service was awesome too—friendly and super welcoming. I’m already planning to come back with friends and family so they can see what they’ve been missing. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out. 10/5 stars from me!”

However, last night was our first experience that will definitely play a roll on determining if we’ll go again. New waitress to the facility (little to no personality) messed orders and side shrimp (no scallops). Should have had sundried tomato and cream sauce which was forgotten. I can wait on my order to get corrected....things happen. It was the personality or lack there of that did it for me.”

“The Tim Hortons I wanted to comment on doesn’t have a Facebook like page. It’s down the street. The esso gas station off of burloak and harvester. I am a regular customer, I come in every single morning at 5-5:30am. The staff is seriously fantastic! The manger there, or supervisor (not sure what role she plays) I believe her name it Katrina or kate. Every morning she greets me and wishes me the best day at work. I came in Friday and I had gone to a different Tim’s the day before and I had my whole order wrong. She happily replaced it and apologized on behalf of Tim Hortons that my order was wrong! I look forward to seeing her every morning, she always has a smile on her face, and a positive attitude (which is hard to find in management staff sometimes). Theirs always a full display of good treats, and all the staff is always motivated to help you with your order! Just wanted to share! Sometimes good people need the recognition they deserve!”

Staff is pretty friendly and service is great except sometimes ordering directly from the counter takes a little time as it doesn't seem like there's one person dedicated to take orders at all times but most of the time it's not a long wait.

Usually just order coffee and a muffin from there. Coffee tastes great and muffins are great too although if you get one in the evening, they may be a little stale but you can always heat them up. Rarely use the drive thru there but when I do it's always been pretty quick.”

Sue our server she is great always smiling laughing and making you fell warm and relaxed a great place to eat atmosphere is wonderful. Sue makes you feel like you’re part of a family. She know how we have our coffees and has them ready when we walk in the door. She is an outgoing person with a personality to match. I believe she should get an award for best waitress of the year. I go there twice a week when I know her schedule is just to say hi and feel appreciated as a customer as she is more then just a waitress to me she is a friend with a smile that makes your day. It is very comfortable and clean inside and we were immediately greeted by our waitress. She was extremely helpful, efficient, friendly and checked in on us regularly. We had a vegetarian platter each consisting of two homemade falafels, lentils and rice, hummus, baba ghanoush, pita bread. We topped it with medium chicken skewers. Everything tasted wonderful. The chicken was tender and succulent, the spice level perfect. Definitely the best falafels I have eaten. Crunchy on the outside and light and flavourful on the inside. Definitely will be back again soon to try something else on the menu.”

And probably the only spot that asks you how you want your espresso drink - light, medium or dark roast. If you're a true coffee enthusiast, you'll appreciate this place. The owners are a hard working authentic family who have always been kind & respectful & yes, I always get a smile. It is not high end dining, it is a quaint little Japanese Korean restaurant. The food has always been fresh, consistent & a good portion size. They keep the restaurant clean. As for a tip, others have mentioned being pressured - I have never experienced this, unlike at other places like Subway. I love this like gem & will continue eating here. After we were given menus, we waited again forever . we ordered our drinks and food at the same time. was given bread and salad after a while......still no drinks .Our main courses sporadically arrived, no quality check(chicken was cold) . we actually thought our server left , as she was no where in sight. the table next to us was also getting irritated as they needed to leave . we stood up after we were done to try and find our server , but ended up going to the kitchen and asking for boxes for our food. went back up to ask for our bill, someone else came over . I told her it was an awful experience, and there was no apology or question asked to why, I guess they know 🤷‍♀️. I have avoided this chain as the service was always terrible , and we thought after 4 years we would give it another go. We'll, NEVER AGAIN”

I also ordered the chocolate brownie sundae, which was disappointing — it didn’t taste like ice cream, more like sweetened milk that had been whipped and frozen, alcohol taste. I’ve had delicious creamy vegan ice cream before, so this fell short. That said, I love that everything here is vegan, and I’d definitely come back to try other items on the menu.
