About Chai Pani - The Indian Streetary

Chai Pani - The Indian Streetary in Oakville is a delightful gem with the potential to become a long-term favorite. The restaurant has a clean and pleasant atmosphere, complemented by friendly and welcoming staff. Standout dishes like the Amritsari Nutri Kulcha, Aloo Tikki Chaat, and the crispy Daal Kachori and Chai combo are described as delicious and worth the wait. The Tawa Pulav is noted for being rich in flavor, while the Rasmalai pastry is appreciated for its soft and creamy texture. The menu offers a mix of traditional and updated Indian street food options, with exciting new additions like Chole Bhatura and Chilli Garlic Momos, which are noted for their flavor and heat. The vada pav and peri peri fries are hands down the best. The cutting chai is the best and the amount of sugar is also perfect. The daal Kachori Chaat and sandwiches are very fresh and the best in town. The staff is accommodating and attentive, willing to make amends when necessary. The food is amazing, quick and tasty. Overall, Chai Pani provides a great dining experience.

Do yourself a favour - don’t go to Chai Pani - The Indian Streetary. The food is insipid. They claim to serve Bombay street food. Believe me it’s no where close. We ordered Railway cutlets, vada pav, pav bhaji, Hyderabadi Irani chai and cutting chai. The pav bhai had to veggies in it, just tomato paste with a little spice. The Railway cutlets were disgusting to say the least and the potatoes in the vada pav were stale. Both the cutting chai and the Hyderabadi Irani...read full review

Chai Pani gave me the street food flavour | food | experience in a classy way right here in Oakville. The food was awesome. Tasty. Masala tea on clay pot brought back a lot of memories. Being all vegetarian restaurant, no problem for my parents who do not want to visit restaurant serving meats. Mix-up worry. I loved the inside ambiance. Great service.
