They were also clearly labelled vegan, which is rare to find at middle eastern restaurants. “I went to Boustan for their $4.99 special for shwarma pitas.I had the chicken pita and it was DELICIOUS. The chicken was tender. They added just the right amount of sauce. The toasted flavour of the pita was the crowning touch.My family agreed the beef pitas and mixed chicken/beef pitas were also delicious.The customer service was excellent. The lady who took my order gave me a free sample of the garlic potatoes, which were absolutely delectable.The order was a little slow to come out, but this may have been due to the number of people coming for the $4.99 special.It was well worth the wait.I saw on the menu they have a $12.99 vegetarian offering. I must go back to try that one, too.This location is only 7 months old. The interior was sparkling clean and the decor was pleasant.5/5 Recommended“
“Loved the entire vibe. Delicious food. If you enjoy drinking please have Yalla Drink from their cocktail menu it's so good. We ordered Trio dip hummus, muhammara, baba ghanoush which is served with hot pita bread. The muhammara is so good. Also ordered fattoush which was okay.For mains we ordered Chicken tawouk, Grilled octopus and kefta which was nice.“

A man who has been eating at Tarboosh for 30 years? I know that Naguib is certified 'Foodie,' a true connoisseur of world class food, great food preparation, and excellent restaurant service. I also know that Naguib has four very specific 'Favourite Restaurants in Mississauga, that he loves - Tarboosh being 'right there in the mix!' Today, Naguib helped to raise the bar for me, in terms of what qualifies as truly outstanding Middle Eastern Food, and for that, I am grateful!When I sat down, I was showed a menu. “Saw this place hidden in a small plaza and we decided to try it out. First of all, it looks like a chain restaurant, but the quality of the food was unexpectedly outstanding. The portion of chicken in the chicken saj was very generous. You gotta try the garlic potatoes ? they were delicious. We do wish the atmosphere was a little warmer and more inviting. However, the service was top notch. Thanks Manpreet Kaur for a great experience. We will be back.“
“They have a good halal meat section. Their cheese and olive section is my favorite. I also like their bakery. Their fresh fruits cheese cake was a hit on two of our birthdays. Ive tasted their coffee cream cake at my friends and it was delicious too. They also serve flavourful prepared meals. The fruit and vegetable section has fresh variety and everything is available. They have a good variety of snacks , crackers and cookies too. Will take photos next time and update.“
“I came here with my husband and we are super happy to have come across Sidra and he is very kind and welcoming. We tried the regular chicken shawarma and the tandoori chicken shawarma and it was delicious. A very good shawarma after a long time, 10/10! They also make this in house sauce which you can even purchase to take home, and it’s probably the best sauce I have tried and I use it with all my foods at home (burgers, sandwiches, etc.) We’re already on our 2nd bottle!“
