“I had a great experience at this Arab bakery. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and variety they offer. The food is excellent and everything tastes fresh & flavorful.
What really stands out is the wide selection. They have all kinds of baked goods, including all types of bread, not just Arabic bread. From traditional pastries to sweets and savory items, there is something for everyone.
The place also offers dine-in tables, which is perfect if you want to enjoy your food hot and fresh right away. One of their best highlights is their No. 1 Managish, with a wide menu and many options to choose from. I highly recommend trying the zaatar with cheese (It’s absolutely delicious).
The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in their work.
Overall, this is a fantastic place if you’re looking for delicious Arabic bakery items at good prices. Highly Recommended!“

“10/10 Brunch. Beautiful patio, exceptional service, and dynamite food. We didn't even order any of the meat dishes and enjoyed the sampler trio of dips (Muhammara, Labneh, and Baba Ganoush) and a delicious bean stew called Foul, with fresh pitas and side salads. So filling, very delicious!“

“This place is a sure gem! Everything from the top notch service to the clean and neat environment, to the exquisite desserts. We were so impressed. I had the 'Fruitmania' and it was very good. It was the first time trying ashta and the more I ate it, the more I fell in love with it. It was perfectly paired with the strawberry and mango juice. The right amount of sweetness! Ali, the owner, was so kind and attentive. We most definitely will be back! Can't wait for summer to enjoy the wonderful options for cold desserts and beverages. Thank you!“

“I went here with my boyfriend for a quick lunch. We got the chicken wrap and the mix beef and chicken wrap. Wow the flavours, the crispy texture of the pita. It was wonderfully saucy too. Very good meal, highly recommend. I may fall asleep at my desk but it was worth it!“

“Ive been going here since i was in my early teen years the chicken or combination Shawarma are my go to items although ive tasted the majority of their menu and its all fabulous.the ingredients are always fresh and homemade sauces are fantastic. The owners and staff are absolutely some of the nicest people always welcoming you with smiles and light hearted conversations. I grew up eating here and my kids have been in too now . I have to say im somewhat addicted to their food I crave it because its that good. I moved to bc 4 years ago and its the only place (restaurant wise )in Toronto I miss so much. Not ashamed to admit I actually cried the laat time i went in knowing it would be a good while before id be able to be there again , the owners almost feel like family after almost 25 years of coming to this spot . Im returning to Toronto for a visit this summer and you better believe one of the First things ill do is pop in and order 2 sandwiches and catch up with the amazing staff.“

“I ordered the lamb chops and they were fantastic. I like my lamb chops well done, I know that's not very common, but they managed to do it just right without over cooking it. I wasn't really a fan of the rice though, it was a bit dry and lacked flavour with too much onions. The price was a bit steep though for the portions.
also the service was excellent, they didn't constantly interrupt us and showed up the right amount of times. The tea selection was also fantastic. I recommend this place.“

“One of the Best shawarmas I had in Toronto. It is meaty and saucy - they way I like it. Love that the have a hotdog sausage in the shawarma. I ordered the sweet potato fries too - which were also great The meat is tender and fresh - seems like you are eating thighs but it’s actually chicken breast. Highly recommended“

“A carefully curated journey through modern Middle Eastern cuisine is offered here at Taline, which starts off with a trio of mezze: The bold babaganoush features tender strips of flame-grilled, gooey eggplant. Hints of nuttiness from walnuts and sesame bolster its depth, with a subtle innate sweetness that’s complemented by fried sorrel and charred plum, offering a bright, tart contrast. The heavenly hummus is silky smooth, rich in tahini creaminess, and subtly garlicky. A quenelle of green harissa adds a smoky char and gentle heat, while crisp, umami-rich falafel bites multiply the texture. A bright Banru blends feta, halloumi and chickpeas into a slightly coarse, chilli-tinted paste. The salty tang of the cheeses is tempered by chickpeas and enhanced by a sweet pickled tomatillo slice. Accompanying the dips is a spongy, lightly charred flatbread brushed with zaatar and olive oil. While the exterior has a satisfying crisp to bring texture to the mezze, it pairs best with the kibbeh, which steals the spotlight. Finely minced into a silky delight, the beef is infused with garlic and melts in your mouth. Fried garlic granules on top amplify the aroma, while butter lettuce wraps, pickled turnips and a dollop of garlic toum add texture, tang, and a subtle piquant kick.
The second course moves toward seafood and freshness, presenting grilled prawns with a smoky char and tender meat. A vibrant chermoula and smoked labneh bring herbaceousness and tang, while the prawn head butter delivers a rich, creamy umami punch. The Tabbuleh refreshes the palate with finely chopped kale, scallions, cilantro, mint, tomato, and plums, offering fruitiness and mild tang without bitterness. Next, the third features a main and a side to share. The grilled halibut is perfectly cooked, moist and flaky, lightly seared, and minimally seasoned to let the fish shine. It bathes in an earthy, herbaceous parsley soup with roasted green chili puree and lemon labneh, finished with a sprinkle of zaatar. Confit potatoes are lightly battered, retaining a hint of crispiness and a tender interior to pair with the fish. Tossed with a mild hot sauce and dollops of lemon mayo, they evoke patatas bravas with a gentle tang. Dessert rounds out the experience with contrasting textures and flavours: the Halva Tart has a firm crust filled with a rich, nutty halva cream that oozes all over. Burnt honey-lemon drizzle adds subtle sweetness and mild bitterness, while crushed pistachios provide a fragrant crunch. A side of dehydrated olive oil melts on the tongue, releasing delicate woody and pine aromas. To our surprise, the chocolate left a lingering satisfaction - smooth, expertly tempered, with a satisfying crunch and subtle cardamom warmth that complements the cocoa’s mild bitterness.“

“Stopped by for a late night, homemade-like snack with my husband (they're open until midnight). The service was amazing!! Super kind and friendly staff, they even gave us fries for tasting with their homemade garlic sauce/aioli and we ended up getting some because they were SO GOOD! 😋 We ordered their 2 chicken shawarma special and it was beyond delicious. 🤤 The prices are amazing and there are lots of other deals and combos to save and enjoy good quality food that is ready to go in less than 10 minutes! We had an amazing experience, despite it being 11:30 p.m. they treated us like we were their first customers of the day and gave us that heartwarming feeling that no chain restaurant will ever be able to replicate. Will definitely be back!“
