You have to try the Lahmacun with the hit of sumac, lemon and parsley. WOW!! Flavour explosion! Soujuk is like the tastier version of pepperoni! The pizza boat - thin crust like you’ve never seen. Delicious! Kunefe dessert is a must; with their Turkish ice cream! There are bracelets for donation, proceeds going to a Turkish orphanage, and so much good. The food was hot and tasty. We have dined at Scaddabush several times over the last two years and have enjoyed ourselves every time. Only disappointment is the dessert menu. Too many Nutella or Hazelnut desserts. Definitely not a Nutella fan. I did try the Tiramisu and found it too much like a pudding for my taste. There must be another option that would be nice to have.”

“Dined here for the first time last night and it was absolutely the best meal I’ve had in a very long time! Started with caprese salad and risotto balls which were perfect in every way. The fresh pesto with the caprese was a delicious and fresh twist. Risotto balls were stuffed and cooked beautifully and served on a bed of the best tomato sauce, I couldn’t bare to leave any on the plate. My partner had the beef tenderloin which made me envious but my pork schnitzel with mushroom demi, mashed potato’s and veggies couldn’t have been any better if they tried. A small and intimate atmosphere and the waitresses are very friendly and attentive in all the right ways. This is my new favourite spot, a true gem. Will be back many more times to try everything else on the menu!”

Our main server Paul, and the entire Carriage House staff, took great care to ensure our dining experience was topnotch. The in-house made flatbread was excellent (I wish I'd asked for the recipe) all by itself! Ours was enjoyed with cocktails, Caesar salad, escargot, octopus, the seafood crepe and the bone-on tenderloin. All items were cooked to perfection. The tenderloin was cooked over mesquite and juicy; more so than the ones we regularly get from our butcher in Texas! Book your Open Table now. You're guaranteed a special night out. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Absolutely the best meal we ever had while in Burlington. Found the prices very reasonable when compared to other restaurants of this caliber. No need to drive to Toronto any more to get this variety and quality food and service. Location is great, after dinner we walked a block down to the water front and enjoyed talking a walk while the sunset. Was looking for some family ran buisnesses to try out in the Tyandaga area as I've grown tired of the regular stuff we have in the area. Absolute gem, I bought the Tomato Za'atar and the "inflation buster" deal, which you get a random soup at a solid discount.

Tomato Za'atar wasn't my thing, I've got some sensory issues, and it didn't bide well with me. gave it to my neighbor who loves middle eastern food, and he wrote back within the hour about how good it was.

The Inflation buster ended up being a soup I was already looking at on their website. The Mexican Elote Street corn, best soup I've had in a WHILE. DELICIOUS. Ingredients are well portioned out and blend together deliciously.

Prices are awesome, as a bonus, free delivery to anyone in Tyandaga :). Will be ordering again for SURE. Thank you for your kindness when delivering, Erik!”

“Right Wingers instantaneously became my go to for Pizza & Wings. Staff are very, very friendly but that only scratches the surface honestly. The garlic dip. That garlic dip will change your life i PROMISE you. Pizza is great, wings are great. I'd recommend the dry Cajun for Wings, which by the way are a GREAT price for what you get. Absolutely 5/5.”

“Some of the best Mexican food one can have in not just Burlington but all of the GTA. So far I’ve had their Boca chicken and Tiger Uppercut tacos and they were all amazing. Beer is interesting as they have a bunch of different types and lots of variety. The food however was hit and miss! Fish tacos were enjoyable and the Churros were decent WITHOUT the sauce. The dulce de leche sauce was sub par and not what I was expecting, too waterty and lacks the authenticity. Steak tacos were a true disappointment. Lacks any kind of flavour especially if they are advertising a Spanish cuisine. Very bland and the sauce to compliment was just NOT a compliment. Looked like guac but tasted like green water with a dash of salt. Perhaps give it one more try but not overly excited to do so.”

“I get tired of lousy service in various places, but here is standard consistent service that actually talks to me and asks what I want, checks my Starbucks card and seems happy I'm there. I don't expect much, but they seem really efficient and polite. Some days it's just a great oasis in hectic day, and I am so glad they are there. Keep in mind, I never use the drive through, and order pretty simple drinks like espressos and americanos, so I can't vouch for any of the fancy stuff.”

This location has employees who are competent, friendly and accurate with orders and its rare to see these days at a Tim Hortons. No store is perfect but this team is consistently good.I've been to many locations all over the GTA over 3+ decades, namely in Burlington, and have seen a slow decline in customer service at locations everywhere but not at this location. This location has employees who know their job and do it.I have no friends or family at this location, just a shout out because I see the difference at this store compared to most others. “Newest store in the neighbourhood. Known as the Metro Appleby Store in the Millcroft Metro. The staff are new and friendly. It's located in the metro and will have its own entrance as well. It's open to the grocery store and is small but a welcome respite before or after groceries. No drive through. Parking available. No high chairs (yet). No bathroom but there is one in the metro. They only operate inside metros regular hours of operation.”

“We recently took my Father for his 84th birthday, as he’d always wanted to go and had never been.

The restaurant is a cozy, intimate setting, so book an early reservation.

The service was in short, impeccable. We had someone at our table in a wheelchair and another with a significant food allergy, and they accommodated them without any fuss. They were attentive and professional, without being intrusive at all.

The menu is succinct and perfectly executed. Just enough choice and variation without being pretentious or risking quality and consistency.

The food was the star of the show, and it’s the first time in a long time where I felt I got what I paid for. Everything was cooked absolutely perfectly, from the steak to the veg. Nothing over powering anything else, and a reminder to me of what I should remember in my kitchen at home. The Caesar salad is absolutely fantastic, and plentiful!

Thank you to the team at Napoleons for making my Fathers birthday one to remember. He’s still raving about the experience and we can’t wait to return.

As I said, book an early reservation time to avoid any wait as this place has a deservedly loyal following and just a few tables. A lot of restaurants in the area could learn from the Napoleon model.”

“Beautiful restaurant. Awesome food. Flavor is spot on. Ribeye medium rare cooked perfectly. Great chimichurri sauce! Brussel sprouts side is very tasty. Truffle mashed unfortunately had no truffle flavor at all. Grilled calamari was cooked well and good flavoring on the sauces. Music is abit too loud we could barely hear the waiter and the choice of music don’t really suit the ambiance of the place (it went from dance to hip hop and then country music anything but dinner music) Service was great. Portion size was good.”

“One Saturday morning, after delivering our Labradoodle to Taylor'd Paws in Burlington, we needed a place to eat breakfast. We wanted to enjoy a dog-free sit-down breakfast with good coffee. We looked on-line for an All-Day Breakfast Restaurant near us with good reviews. Russell Williams Family Restaurant popped up. Their menu had a wide variety of choices. Their waitresses are very nice and the food is prepared fast. So every 6 weeks we drop off our dogs at the groomers and head to Russell Williams Restaurant for breakfast. We often have friends from Toronto & Milton meet us there. Today, the weather was lovely. One dog did not require grooming, so she came with us and ate breakfast with us on the outdoor patio. There were several other people with dogs on the patio, doing the same as us. All were well-behaved and quiet. You would be too, if you were sharing bacon, eggs, sausage and ham with your owner.”
