“Dined here for the first time last night and it was absolutely the best meal I’ve had in a very long time! Started with caprese salad and risotto balls which were perfect in every way. The fresh pesto with the caprese was a delicious and fresh twist. Risotto balls were stuffed and cooked beautifully and served on a bed of the best tomato sauce, I couldn’t bare to leave any on the plate. My partner had the beef tenderloin which made me envious but my pork schnitzel with mushroom demi, mashed potato’s and veggies couldn’t have been any better if they tried. A small and intimate atmosphere and the waitresses are very friendly and attentive in all the right ways. This is my new favourite spot, a true gem. Will be back many more times to try everything else on the menu!”

The muscles are flavourful and you get a very generous portion with 2 thick cut slices of grilled bread. The shrimp they serve are the biggest i’ve seen.Highly recommend to the seafood lovers out there.”
“Ordered the mixed grill which easily fed 4 adults with leftovers. Each element was excellent, all four us loved every bite (which is rare for our family with quite distinct food preferences). Just wish we had tried them earlier , especially as they are a block from our house, we will be ordering again soon!!”
“I got the Combo 3 with the burger a can of pop and some fries and it was delicious I really liked it the service was great they were nice and welcoming. I wish I got the combo 4 because the fries were missing some salt but over all it’s a really good place to eat if you are really hungry. It’s very filling. ??”

“We had a very nice time and the food was excellent. We both had the filet mignon. This was our second time during restaurant week. The three corse meal was perfect. You must have the banana foster for desert the presentation and delivery will surprise you. If you want fine dining and great service you should definitely visit Eddy V's.”

The nachos come loaded with cheese, wings come cooked to order, always a beer selection with something new to try or you can get a tried and true favourite. The staff is friendly, and attentive. It's usually filled or nearly filled but the servers really value your being there and you always feel well taken care of. It can be a bit loud but that's what happens when the game is on!”

The food is always incredible, always tasty, fresh and full of flavour. There’s a handful of vegan options, the onion bhajis are my absolute favourite and I have the utmost faith and trust in Prince Of India when it comes to the knowledge of food restrictions, they ask how spicy you want your dish (mild, medium or spicy) and they really do give great sized portions. You even get a discount on your meal when you dine in, which is such a nice bonus. I recommend Prince Of India to everyone I talk to, quite literally. If you’re looking for authentic food, and even further, authentic people, this is the place.”

“My fiancé and I have been customers for about a year now, and we absolutely love Janina Soup Company and Heather Cookie Co! The soups never disappoint. They're jam-packed full of real ingredients, and seasoned to perfection. Our favourites include Woodland Mushroom Cream, Broccoli Cheddar, and Mexican Elote Street Corn. Heather bakes the most amazing homemade cookies we've ever had. It's so exciting to open the box and see which ones we've received. Payment is simple and they offer curbside pickup from their front porch, or delivery (free within their neighbourhood). Also, chef Erik is one of the nicest people you'll meet. If you're considering trying them out, go for it! You won't be disappointed!”

“Hello. We received a coffee instead of a steeped tea at another location. We were back on the Highway and didn't want to go back to the Tim Hortons that messed up the order. Instead we found the next closest restaurant. I thought if I explained what happened, they would replace the coffee with a steeped tea. Sarang was so kind and helpful. At first he thought he made the mistake, but I explained what happened and without question he gave us a free steeped tea to replace the incorrect item received at another restaurant. I believe Sarang represents the Canadian spirit of Tim Hortons and he should be promoted to a shift supervisor at the very least! :)”

“So, that is a real shawarma! Their shawarma is pure heavenly. Very fresh ingredients, friendly service. light lovely garlic and moist not too salty chicken. The chicken is very delicious and tender, you can notice the difference! The greens with the platter were so fresh, and the portion was just very filling! More importantly, the owner, Mina, is very friendly, talks to customers and get to know them and remember them coming again all the time! Overall, wonderful experience, definitely back again!”

Lacks any kind of flavour especially if they are advertising a Spanish cuisine. Very bland and the sauce to compliment was just NOT a compliment. Looked like guac but tasted like green water with a dash of salt. Perhaps give it one more try but not overly excited to do so.”

Had a few drinks, fish & chips, couple servings of fried dill pickles and a great but brief conversation (very busy server) with Sarah. During my late lunch, two fellas picked up their acoustic guitars and gave a half full tavern their version of some classic songs and personal stories. Although I work a lot, I make time to explore different events and places. I'll definately return to AB Sports Bar as I felt quite comfortable on this mid-February Sunday afternoon.Terry”

Although I wanted to have some pomegranate juice, I mistakenly got a different type. However, Naman was very attentive and listened to me carefully when I informed him about the mix-up. He promptly prepared a delicious pomegranate passion juice that was exactly what I needed. I am very grateful to Naman for his excellent customer service and friendly attitude. “We walked into this restaurant yesterday and I must say the young man that works there was absolutely phenomenal. He was cleaning the restaurant very neatly and taking orders at the same time. Helping out his other work mates with drive thru. His aura is very very positive and he makes smiley faces on the burgers so everyone can smile. Never seen a person like that before with such aura. Especially in this industry anything can go wrong but his way of communicating and dealing with customers is so lovely and sweet. I have never written a review before but looking at this young man he needs to be recognised for his hard work. He is literally doing everything washing windows outside, taking orders at the same time, and making the burgers for the customers. Please please to whoever hired this young man kudos to you. We need people like this in this industry. Take good care of him and as far as the food it was amazing.”
“This Starbucks is attached to the Indigo in Burlington Mall. It has a separate entrance but you can also access it from inside the mall via the Indigo. There is some seating here so you can get some work done as well. You can't bring any of the books over to the Starbucks to read since that is past the bounds of the Indigo. This location accepts mobile orders. The baristas were really good at giving you a heads up as to which order they were preparing next. They were also very astute. We picked up beverages before we headed into the mall to browse. On our way out we put in a mobile order to bring home for a friend. They recognized us and were concerned that we'd been waiting for a long time. They let us know that our drink was up next and we were on our way shortly.”

Shrimp was surprisingly (short and thin), miso did not taste very good but it might have been because it was lukewarm by the time it was delivered and in a clear plastic container. The hand roll was just a piece of sashimi and rice with some sesame seeds, no veggies but it was good. The nigiri was small but very fresh and I like that the rice wasn't so much of a bite. The sashimi pieces were big and so were the maki rolls, well filled. The tempura shrimp dipping sauce was watery and flavorless. The food was well packed and you can tell, made with care. Overall, fresh food, great taste, clean, but I'd skip the tempura shrimp and miso next time. Would recommend overall!”

It was so quiet we could hear other people chewing across the room. Play some music, and offer ice for the lukewarm water, and this place would be 5 stars. Give them a try!”

“It’s always a pleasure to pop in to Isabelle’s at The Pearle Hotel and Spa in Burlington to enjoy the tranquility, lake and food. They were on the brunch menu and busy with some larger tables of 6, 4s and 2s. The restaurant was about half full and hostess confirmed lamb sausages and gluten free toast was available. The server came over within 2 minutes and I ordered immediately and she brought my hot water with lemon within a minute. I enjoyed myself observing everything and noticed it was over 20 minutes that I ordered. Just under 25 minutes my server told me it was coming and it appeared - the Florentine Benedict on Gluten Free with potatoes and the 3 lamb sausages that were a bit spicy. I don’t mind spice so no issue. The eggs were perfect medium, flavourful as well as the sausages fully cooked. So why a 4? The time it took without setting my expectation before, during and after ordering. My suggestions would be letting guests coming in know the time that entrees will take, the server reconfirming it and keeping me updated on status. Checking in every 10 min or so as well. I’m not sure if the cooking line manager and servers/floor manager are in sync. Being half busy I would have expected more speed of delivery and engagement for a single table order. Further the runner/server that brought it out didn’t ask if I’d like anything else on delivery. Another server came over 3 minutes after serving and asked how it was and if I needed anything. Also they should check with the guest that they are ok with spicy sausages. My daughter loves lamb sausages but couldn’t eat those if I brought her so I can’t. Truffle mashed unfortunately had no truffle flavor at all. Grilled calamari was cooked well and good flavoring on the sauces. Music is abit too loud we could barely hear the waiter and the choice of music don’t really suit the ambiance of the place (it went from dance to hip hop and then country music anything but dinner music) Service was great. “Amazing food, exceptionally caring and attentive staff. The people here go out of there way to make sure customers are happy, comfortable and taken care of. Tonight I ordered through uber eats and accidently canceled the order, UE. Charged a 95% cancelation fee to my CC without telling me.. when I noticed the charge on my card, I spoke to Uber eats who refused to refund the "cancelation fee", and would not place a reorder without me paying again (double charge) for the original order. I ended up driving to the restaurant and told them of the situation and they made sure I was taken care of. They fufulied my order without knowing if UE would give them the money they are owed. I absolutely recommend this place and have ordered from them many times, every single time the food is incredible. “Finally, a fantastic, authentic Filipino dine-in/take out place within the Halton & Hamilton area! We decided to try Mikaela’s in person as my partner orders their empanadas every week from a coworker who regularly orders from here too. Dang, this restaurant did not disappoint! We ordered the Bilao Family Meal—a meal meant to serve 4 to 6 people when in fact, the generous size portion at Mikaela’s would realistically feed 6 people, minimum. Because we wanted to try so much more, we also got the lechon kawali (masarap!) and sisig (my all-time favourite Filipino dish) which they served hot on a sizzling plate with a freshly cracked egg—the only way sisig should be served! The restaurant is so beautifully decorated and gives such a “homey” vibe. And the service? No words; they truly make you feel like family We got buko pandan to go and let me tell you, I savoured every bite. We went with 2 of our good friends who are newer to Filipino food, and they could not stop raving about it. We can’t wait to come back and try their other dishes!
