“My daughter took me here for her favourite Pho soup. We each had the BT special pho noodle soup (with beef, flank brisket, tenderloin and tripe). Very thinly sliced meat, bean sprouts, Thai basil, chili pepper, parsley, onion and amazing seasonings. The small was more than we could each finish. One of the best flavoured soups. Delicious. Served with complimentary jasmine tea. Also shared an order of Vietnamese spring rolls. Also delicious. Beautiful decor. Large dining area.“

“Great Vietnamese place. People commenting that they go here to order Thai and order Pad Thai should shake their head. It's Pho. Vietnamese focused. Order the Vietnamese dishes here and order Thai food down the road at Thai Orchid for authentic Thai. Great portions for the price and looking forward to the reopening.“

“After a long day, I went to a small Vietnamese restaurant in Hamilton, Ontario. I ordered a meal and, while waiting, a homeless person came in. The owner, instead of asking him to leave, offered him a meal and invited him to have supper around back. It's great to see that there are still good people and businesses in the world. I thanked the owner and gave him a handshake. Truly heart warming ! Food was fantastic support this amazing restaurant!“

“The ultimate oink bah mi tasted fantastic. Lots of meat of different texture that worked great together, and the veggie was fresh. Size was just right for a quick meal, and for under $10 it's an absolute steal. Note there's no place to seat tho.“

“Lemongrass pork Banh Mi is 10/10. I’m sure the rest is good but I eat that every week. They need to start bottling and selling that chilli oil. It’s really spicy and flavourful. Best chilli oil I’ve tasted in Canada.“

“We felt like Pho when we were in Hamilton today so we went to Mother’s Vietnamese Kitchen. We had the Pho and it was fantastic. Such a nice variety of thin beef, tripe, tendon and noodles and there was so much of each, plus a very tasty broth. The quantity they give you is great! It’s probably the best Pho I’ve had! Service was also great…very friendly. We ordered the soft spring rolls “to go”…they were so huge! It’s a short 10 minute walk from Hamilton General Hospital…very close. We’d definitely go there again😋“

“A quick stop before a show at Westdale turned into a surprisingly memorable bite. Two mains, both executed with confidence — the shrimp stir-fry with jasmine rice was beautifully balanced, no need for sauces, just clean, well-rounded flavor. The beef with egg noodles followed the same note: generous portion, deeply satisfying.
The mixed fruit smoothie, however, missed the mark — diluted and lacking that fresh, vibrant punch you’d expect. On the brighter side, the jasmine tea was spot-on and quietly elevated the meal.
Don’t come expecting dessert — this is more of a “eat well and move on” kind of place. And honestly, that’s part of its charm. Modest, no-frills, a bit worn — but it carries an authenticity that makes it feel like a quick meal in Saigon rather than a polished dining room in Hamilton.
Service is fast and efficient, though not particularly guiding — you’re expected to know your order. For about $40 (with a small cash discount), it’s excellent value.

“We ordered stir-fried rice noodles with curry, which was delicious. The spring rolls were also very good; they were the best I've ever had at a Vietnamese restaurant—crispy wrappers and fragrant fillings. My friend ordered the 101 XL, which was a generous portion with plenty of meat and a very flavorful broth. I highly recommend trying the rice noodle soup; it's Hamilton's best beef broth.“

“Been here 2 times since it opened. Menu is very big with lots of great options. Everything I tired was absolutely amazing. Also the drink options are endless. Definitely will be back. Small issues with communication but that's minor.“
