Based on my late night pho dac biet take-out I just finished enjoying, this restaurant is legit and classic. It reminds me of my childhood 🥹. When I walked in, there were 3 generations present - and this was beautiful to see.

I'm Vietnamese-Canadian, my parents are from Saigon, Vietnam. So, I've probably had more than 500 bowls of homemade pho in my lifetime so far 🤣. I don't normally review restaurants until I dine-in because usually take-out/pick up isn't nearly as good - but this was wonderful:

The pho dac biet was good: The broth has that perfect very slight sweetness and was nice and clear & clean, the bò viên (beef meat balls) are handmade (which most places in Toronto don't do), and you get all the proper herbs and fixens you're supposed to get (which not a lot of Toronto spots do with this level of detail). These details alone make whatever I payed for the bowl more than worth it.

I recommend supporting and enjoying this small, local, hard-working family-run restaurant.“

“I stumbled upon this and decided to go in. First, they have parking right at the restaurant, which is a nice perk. Second, the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was tastefully done. Typically pho restaurants are minimalist at best. Third, the staff member greeted me politely and was very attentive while I was there.

When I received my food it was presented beautifully. Again, I was not expecting this kind of presentation at a pho restaurant. The most important part, is the food tasted great and the portion size was quite large. I would definitely go back.“

“This is my favourite place! I always order P10 - Vegan Pho and the vegan crispy spring rolls. The food is always delicious. The staff are friendly. I order from Uber eats often as well and it's the same quality, lots of veggies/tofu and noodles.“

My wife is addicted to their tea, it smells exactly like brown sugar boba. If you're in Thornhill, we can't recommend this place enough.“

“First time visiting Nang Saigon and it was a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and Chu Dat is accommodating, which made us feel welcome right away. Service was attentive and kind throughout. Looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes!“

Meaning alleyway in Vietnamese, a Hem is where you'd find hidden gems. The steamed wontons are a solid start. The filling combines aromatic pork umami with the mild sweetness of shrimp, accented by carrot, sesame oil, soy and scallions. “Hole in the wall and gem of a place. A straightforward menu yet something for eveyrone. The Banh cohn is a must here! Pricing has gone up over the years but with inflation and cost of living, it is reasonable. The quality of food here and the size portions will not disappoint you. No weird aftertaste and very flavourful food/pho broth. The service here is standout - super friendly and welcoming. Love the staff here! Limited amount of seating in this spot, so expect a wait. Not very ideal for groups over 4.“

“The Pho Quinn in Bridlewood Mall is one of my favorite all time Vietnamese Restaurant. I love their house special Pho. They prepare it to match my taste.
I always order D12 which is grill beef, with spring roll, but I always change the pasta for rice. They absolutely have the best tasting rice, period; So fluffy and tasy. Their grill beef is the best tasting from all the Vietnamese restaurants I've tried to date. Its made with perfection. Im actually moaning while I'm eating it.

“Some of the best Pho in the city! So happy the pandemic didn’t impact their recipe. Perfect dark brown, clear and fragrant broth containing tender rare beef, noodles and I add veggies. This was what I’d been craving during lockdown. As usual Viet Thai Kitchen didn’t disappoint! 10/10 recommended!“

“Everything is great from this place even portions are surprisingly huge, without sacrificing quality of the food. I love their decorations, my only complaint is the lack of space. I do understand theyre busy and want to seat as many people as possible, but wow people pass by 3-4 inches away from your food.

“I stopped by for lunch and left quite satisfied. I had the beef pho, and the broth’s flavour was excellent. The meat was tender, and the portion was sufficient. I also ordered the shaking beef on the side; it wasn’t too heavy and was cooked in a well-balanced way. The turnip cake made for a nice side as well. The service was quick, and I didn’t have to wait long. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. The place is small but clean and well-organized. Prices are reasonable by Toronto standards. “I have tried many Pho restaurants. I went there with my son for lunch, we were absolutely amazed with the Pho. Broth, portion, toppings, taste was definitely one of the best. Our waiter was very hospitable, the restaurant was clean and well designed showing the Vietnamese culture! A definite must try! Also open until 4am!!!!“

“the food here is amazing! so tasty, reasonably priced and the portions are good. a small is very filling. i got the house special noodle soup and it was fantastic. they also have lots of drinks, i got the mango icy drunk and loved it. as well, if you pay cash >$15 they give you a free dessert! we got pumpkin cake and it was amazing :-)“

“I think this is the only Vietnamese restaurant with this amount of selection of different types of snails. Also the Vietnamese pancake here was to die for if there's so many different menu options can't wait to go back and try different things everything was hitting. Freshly opened and replacing another Vietnamese spot in East Chinatown, it serves to suitably fill in the void. The broken rice actually features broken rice, which has a unique aroma and more surface area to soak up the savory fish sauce.“

“I love this Vietnamese place. It's the best bang for your buck while still tasting authentic. The only one problem is if you get the older gentleman as the cashier, he will get your order wrong if you add any customization to your order; no mattet if he says okie or got it. The younger lady and the older lady will get it right.

If you're a fan of Vietnamese cuisine, you absolutely have to try the pho at this place! From the moment my friend and I stepped in, we knew it would be a great place; the service was great, and the decor was nice.

We ordered 2 amazing shrimp mango tempura rolls for appetizers; they were very delicious, and for the mains, we got one broth bowl and one rice plate. The beef and pork were very tender, and the sides on the plates were great. The overall presentation was really nice and a very big portion of food that will make you full by the last bite. :)“

I found their portions to be pretty big (for the pho dishes there were no size options but im sure you can let them know before hand if you have specific requests) We got their chicken pad thai, grilled chicken and pork vermicelli, and their house pho. Their pho broth was good, not to tangy or bland (it was a tad bit cloudy, for anyone who minds that about their broth iykyk) the toppings were perfectly balanced and you had a good amount of everything ☺️ the pad thai was great too! The noodles were perfect and not mushy (some places can get a bit past al dente 🤣) and the grilled vermicelli was soo good!! Definitely worth trying!! The staff here were so kind and helpful too so that's always a plus and the restaurant itself was clean 👌 including the restrooms. Overall, definitely a place worth trying and they have a great playlist too 😆 will come back when we're in the area!“

“Great Northern Vietnamese restaurant. Been here many times for dine in and take out. Staff have always been pleasant and food is delicious and portions are big.

“Not sure how I heard about this place, but I saved it as a place to try.

I kind of walked in with very low expectations and thought this was such a random location for a banh mi store. I always go for the OG so I ordered the assorted sandwich and thought it was really good as well as being reasonably priced ($7 w tax)

“First time trying this place and I did delivery. I ordered raw beef and brisket pho with vegetables and Bo Luc Lac. Everything came packaged very well. The pho was delicious! The broth was very flavourful and the proteins were tender and the extra order of veggies were great! I’m really glad I ordered Bo Luc Lac, I think it’s my new favourite dish. The meat was soooooo yummy and the entire dish was just flavoured really well. I will definitely be re-ordering and highly recommend!“
