“This is an excellent Vietnamese restaurant I have been visited so far, the staff is friendly, provide well service whatever we needed. All the food is tasty and large portion for the main. Highly recommend black chicken hotpot. The soup is full of chinese herbs, it’s sweet naturally and good for women’s health.“
“The food is quite good and staff is friendly but typical in the sense that you call if you need them. The food is quite authentic and portion is good. The pho dac biet has it all and good ingredients with some greens that I have not had in other places... the bun with beef, Spring rolls and shrimp sugar cane was also good. Definitely love to come back“
“BEST NO FRILLS ASIAN RESTAURANT IN ONTARIO.They do Viet, Thai, and Chinese perfectly.I can go on and on about each dish but I’m not here to preach. I invite you to go yourself and experience the authenticity. I will continue adding more photos each time i order a new item.Flavours are consistent. They use quality ingredients and have held this standard for years. You get reasonable portions and it won’t break the bank. I eat here at least twice a week and I’m always beyond satisfied.Food tip:1) if you like spicy add extra spice to the chicken wings2) get a smoothie, idc which flavour , they’re all good3) their specialty noodles are guarantee a hit (bun bo hue, bun rieu, pho sate) so bomb4) no credit cards - keep food prices low5) they get busy**** takeout or dine in doesn’t matter, so CALL AHEAD you have been warned“
“I had been eyeing this spot for a while after seeing their unique beverages on Instagram! As well, it's just outside Vaughan Mills Mall, making it quite accessible/a frequently visited spot. There are also lots of parking spots available.I opted for the following two drinks:1. Stepping out of my comfort zone, I ordered a dessert drink called the SMASHED AVOCADO which contains 8 oz of fresh avocado, boba, rainbow & coffee jellies, and is sweetened with condensed milk. The sweetness level was perfect. The dessert itself was super creamy and thick thanks to the smashed avocados. Lastly, the toppings allowed for a fun chew. This was perfect.2. You can never go wrong with a TRADITIONAL ICED Vietnamese coffee! To make it even better, I added coffee jellies for a fun chew. Bambi's version has that classic strong coffee flavor with a good amount of sweetness from the condensed milk to balance, leaving no bitter aftertaste. I am intrigued to try this at a 75% sugar level though to see if I'd like it more.Service was very friendly and the employee was very helpful as well. Thought I chose to do takeout, they also have quite a bit of space for dine in, making it a good hangout spot.I highly recommend this spot for a treat!“
“I was recommended to visit this pho spot and was pleasantly surprised by the affordable value of this spot. The large special pho has plenty of ingredients and the broth is decent. The grilled beef vermicelli had a nicely crisp spring roll but was a bit lacking in grilled meat quantity despite the price point. You can tell they cater to the nearby school and neighborhood at their price point. All of the typical Viet dishes are on the menu, and the restaurant is quite authentic. We’ll be back to try another vermicelli and hopefully it was an off day in terms of the grilled meat!“
“Picko Lime is a hidden gem for pho enthusiasts, and my recent visit left a lasting positive impression. The service was notably attentive, with staff members going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. The star of the show, undoubtedly, was the pho. The broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, creating a soul-warming bowl of comfort. The attention to detail in the preparation of the ingredients was evident, resulting in a pho that truly stood out in taste and quality. The ambiance at Picko Lime is relaxed, making it a great spot for a casual meal or a comforting bowl of pho on a chilly day. The cleanliness and thoughtfully designed interior added to the overall positive dining atmosphere. In summary, Picko Lime excels in providing a top-notch pho experience with a side of attentive service. It's a must-visit for those seeking a flavorful and satisfying bowl of pho in a welcoming setting.“
“This is an awesome pho place hidden away in a semi-industrial district. It's not the fanciest looking place, but the food tastes incredibly good. I've now tried multiple pho options, the fresh salad rolls, and a rice dish offering. It has always been delicious. As a bonus, the portion sizes are very generous as well. There aren't that many kitchen staff so expect to wait a little, but if you are in the mood for good pho, it will not disappoint.“
“We tried this place on Family Day and it was an instant hit. The food is great, the atmosphere is chill. If you're like me, the fact that the tables are a little spread out from each other makes you feel at ease. Can't wait to come back in summer and try the patio. Pictured here is the grilled beef vermicelli.“
“One of the best experiences we've ever had! The food is perfect, and the secret menu for drinks was absolutely delicious! We had so much fun trying all the different drinks made by Tony! Really recommend for both food and coffee drinks!“
“Step into a world of tantalizing flavors at this vegan Vietnamese gem, where Vicky's warm hospitality elevates the dining experience. From savory pho to mouthwatering banh mi, every dish bursts with authenticity and plant-based goodness. Don't miss out on this culinary adventure – it's a must-try for vegans and foodies alike!“
“Came here tonight for the first time for dinner and was blown away. Amazing food, great portions and presentation was beautiful. We ordered the chicken wings, vietnamese spring rolls and the chicken and pork rice platter. Everything was phenomenal. Service was great as well. It was my dates first time trying vietnamese and he LOVED it. Was raving about the food the rest of the night. So glad we found this place and We will definitely be returning!“
“They are right beside Imagine Cinemas, we had a quick dinner before watching the movies. Overall it was a great experience, the food portions were huge and they tasted authentic. We tried the House Special plate which had pork beef and meat all cooked Vietnamese style with some spring rolls. The meat was tender and the vietnamese sauce for the vermicelli noodles was real good.“
“Came for a late dinner around 8pm on a Saturday night and we were the only people there. Ordered the vermicelli with grilled pork, beef and spring rolls. The portions are big and the meat was cooked well and quite flavourful, but I found the rest of the dish a bit bland including the nuoc cham sauce. Service was friendly but not particularly attentive, despite being the only ones in the restaurant we had to flag them down for water refills.10% off if you pay with cash!“
“So far the best pho ive had in the city. They have 3 extra sauces that make a great dip. They also have whole red chilis on hand and make a spicy addition to their already awesome pho. They are also open till midnight which is very convenient.Highly recommend this spot. Worth the extra drive for us.“
“I pass by here all the time and I’m so happy I finally stopped by!! The vermicelli with chicken and spring rolls were delicious! Very generous portion too! I want to come back now to try the other items and this time I’d sit down to eat for sure!“
“Usually skeptical about highly rated pho places after a bad experience at a famous joint that opened in Etobicoke...you can probably figure that one out. When I saw sweetness in the soup I was thinking I probably won't like it.The other reviews aren't wrong there is a sweetness to the soup. But it works and it's actually very delicious and not overwhelming like the other places.Definitely recommended will try sate and bone marrow next time.“
“This Vietnamese eatery is truly a hidden gem. While primarily a takeout spot, they offer limited seating by the window for those who prefer to dine in. I've visited a couple of times, and each time, the food has been nothing short of delicious. The portions are generous, and the flavors are vibrant. However, during my last visit, I noticed that the shrimp in the mango salad appeared to be undercooked. I'm not sure if this is the traditional preparation or an oversight in the kitchen. Nonetheless, I highly recommend their soup noodles; they're incredibly flavorful. I often request extra shrimp paste on the side to elevate the umami goodness of the broth.“
“I needed a big lunch order for a film crew I was managing and stumbled upon this establishment. They were very accommodating with the huge order and amazing communication throughout! Food was amazing! I highly recommend Pho Tai Bac for food and for service!“
“By far, my number one Vietnamese pho. I won’t let anyone who loves Vietnamese pho not try it. I fell in love with the soup base. You can see a lot of real dried shrimps in the soup base. You won't be thirsty after eating it. I've tried five or six kinds so far, and I've basically never had any trouble. I like this kind of flour, it is thick, chewy and soft. Various soup bases are paired with this powder“
“Super cute Vietnamese spot in an unassuming plaza. My lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl had a generous amount of well-seasoned grilled chicken thigh, and a good balance of vermicelli and fresh veggies. Iced coffee with condensed milk was a bit on the sweet side, but good and strong just like I like it. Great service, too!“
“It’s my third time coming here.Food: 10/10 - there are a lot of unique dishes that are being offered here (the pictures below) and the dishes taste absolutely similar to Vietnam.Service: 10/10 - very friendly, and unfortunate service. The owner was serving us and we were impressed with her hospitality.Atmosphere: 10/10 - there is a big TV which displays Vietnamese street and markets. I am very impressed with this.Parking: Plenty of free parking lot“
“Friendly service with tasty food :”) We tried the Imitation Duck & Vegetable on Pan - Fried Noodle and the Veggie Salty Fish & Soy Chicken Fried Rice. The Noodle won us over and the Fried Rice was also delicious. The secret is that they have marinated bean curds and were skillfully processed to create a chewy and mouth-watering flavour.Honestly speaking, similar to what other reviews stated, the dishes are indeed pretty oily, however the green bean sprouts help balancing the taste so it’s not too bad. If you are used to Southeast Asian dishes then this would be right up your alley.“
“This is the last place in Toronto with Banh Mi under $5. You'd be wrong if you thought you got what you paid for. I was surprised with the amount of meat and pate in it - alot! There are lots of varieties of banh mi ( i.e fried chicken, bbq pork, shredded chicken etc) that I will give a try next time. One note that the bun is on the crunchy side so if you like soft buns, this is not for you. They also sell rice as well but the sign is in Vietnamese, feel free to ask what is the special of the day ?“
“Started with tofu fresh rolls and spring rolls. Spring rolls were really good and the nouc mam was delicious for being vegetarian. The bun bo hue was amazing. Not just for being vegetarian, it cn stand on its own.I really enjoyed the house crispy fried egg noodles too.Vegetarian options: It's a vegetarian restaurantParking: Big free parking space but limited when it's busy“
“WOW. JUST WOW. Where do i even begin. 11/10 easily. The food is amazing, so amazing to the point where i feel tears run down my face every time I eat there. The food is ALWAYS fresh and the portion sizes are amazing for the price. You can tell that the food is made with a lot of thought and love. On top of having great food the customer service is extremely good, the employees are extremely friendly and kind. 11/10. HIGHLY RECOMMEND“
“I stumbled upon a hidden gem! There's something truly special about discovering those cozy, hole-in-the-wall spots where you can taste the love and tradition in every bite. Grandpa and grandma cooking often holds the secrets to unforgettable flavors and comfort food at its finest. Enjoy the journey through deliciousness!“
“Surprise! Amazed by the free tea they served, being told that home made, very tasty! Order the Thai Chat, very different compared to other Vietnamese restaurants, very unique and very delicious, just right sweetness and ice, very good! Ordered shrimp roll, very fresh and cook as served since I feel warm and soft when I eat, sauce is awesome and very smooth. First time here and forgot to ask no green onions, the soup I can tell is no MSG after the first bite, very very impressive!“
“Second time there and she never disappoints. Only one in the kitchen and on the floor her hospitality is wonderful. Clean dine-in restro. And the bar opens at 10am. Looks small from the outside but big inside, they also play modern music. Menu is reasonable and filling too.“
“Awesome place, when I moved here over a year ago this was the best possible find. They are consistent, clean, kind, and efficient. The food is always fresh and of great quality. I have never had a bad experience here, the only issue is that sometimes there's no seating because of how popular they are! Could not recommend more! It is definitely worth stopping in if you like Pho!“
“Really good pho that hits the spot, delicious and rich broth and piping hot. The amount of meat was adequate, but I can see why people would want more. A few more pieces would have been nice. We liked the new menu items. The Bun Cha HaNoi was really delicious, great charcoal taste, and fresh greens. I like that they have items that other restaurants don’t typically have. Prices are fair, and service is fast & accurate. I find the atmosphere comfortable, I actually like the music they play, classic karaoke hits.“
“Run don’t walk! Everything about this location gets 5 stars, from their food to amazing service. Their menu is filled with tasty Vietnamese favourites. Some must try items are the beef pho, chicken wings, mango salad and grilled pork. They have a great sharing platter so you can build your own rice paper wraps with various fixings *chefs kiss.“
“been remodeled under new leadership. The woman is so kind. The store is airy and contemporary. I've purchased banh mi sandwiches and sticky rice with liberally loaded pork and mung beans wrapped in banana leaves on a few different occasions, and they always taste fantastic. Suggested!“
“This location is great! I come here for my lunch breaks and the service is great, location is clean! The food is always on point, I usually eat there and they bring you the order and it’s a great affordable lunch meal! I def recommend and will always come back!“
“Delicious food and good service. Plating is of high quality, the atmosphere of the place is clean, organized, warm and welcoming, as well as comfortable seating. Definitely recommend this place.EDIT (JULY 2022): I'm a long-time regular customer ever since the restaurant opened its doors and this place is still hands-down the only pho store that I TRUST with the broth. Everything above from my previous review remains true, although the service could be better though. Faster service would do, but other than that, Pho Real is truly "real" with its authentic pho broth, that is incomparable to any other pho restaurants within the GTA. This is also coming from a Vietnamese :)“
“I saw a tiktok of this restaurant and definitely had to check it out myself,The shop itself sells plenty of dried Viet goods that you rarely find elsewhere. There is a selective menu but Thuy Restaurant is known for their Bun Cha Ca, it was so homey and warming, it was so good!!Also got their shrimp fried rice, and fresh sugar cane juice. We were served and waited on by Thuy herself, she is so sweet and truly humble about her foodCan't wait to try the rest of the menuParking: The restaurant is part of a huge plaza that offers plenty of free parking“
“That D6, to put it bluntly, is coconut milk jelly, it’s so delicious! adore!I ordered the special beef noodle dish. It was the first time I tasted the meat being so tender in the pho. It was very delicious!I also ordered Vietnamese shrimp rolls and fried spring rolls, which were okay. The price is a bit expensive compared to other pho. But the beef does taste much better.I’m going to try his daily limited beef bone meal next time I get the chance.----------I tried beef bone meal and the bones were so big and so many! It feels a bit awkward to eat in the store, so it’s better to go home and nibble slowly.----------I tried their fried chicken steak, it was very delicious.----------I tried their dry noodles with roast pork, it was especially delicious! !“
“Delicious! Loved it! The last time I visited Toronto, I went to over half a dozen viet restaurants that had sub par service and food. Visiting Toronto again and tried out this restaurant. Food was yummy. Server was sweet. Will be back! Thanks!“
“I’ve had Pho Vaughan a few. Once dine in- the food was delicious, the staff were friendly and on the ball and the portions were generous. Today i was feeling under the weather and what better cure than bun bo hue. - spicy and delicious. Arrived fast, prices great. Only amazing things about this local pho place. Come try for yourself, you won’t be disappointed“
“It's a little off the beaten path but it's a gem for lovers of Banh Mi. There's more of a selection than I expected so I tried the original French Style (#1) and the grilled sausage "Nem Nuong" (#9 I think). The original is excellent! The bread is crusty on the outside and soft/chewy on the inside. It's longer and narrower than the typical Banh Mi from the supermarket. The filling is generous with the most delicious pate, Vietnamese deli meats, pickled carrots/radish and fresh cilantro. The Nem Nuong was quite good as well and it's nice to have options, but the original is still our favourite. We also tried the white round buns (Bao) in the fridge, but found them to be just "okay" and too much on the salty side. They also make their own Cha (Vietnamese deli meat) so we bought one too but have yet to open it. At just a few bucks each these Banh Mi are a bargain for their quality and taste. I made it a must whenever I'm passing by. The owner, she was also very friendly and nice to chat with.“
“Came here with my family and ordered several items. The orders with the hot stone pot with the broth is pretty fun. You can cook the beef in the broth at your own pace. The heat in the broth retains pretty well. One if the broth got cold so we asked if they can heat it up and they let actually came back with another pot with full broth which is really nice. I got the Bun Bo Hue and it tasted great. My only complaint is that it didn't come with pigs blood and the 3 color drink had a bit too much ice in it. The prices are on the higher end but portions make up for the price. Everyone liked their food and I would definitely come back to try the other dishes.“
“Pho and banh mi were really flavorful. It's nice to see real authentic Viet food in a food court. I only order pho if it has the right smell upon entering the establishment. If it doesn't have the right smell, I'll leave the restaurant before ordering ????Also, the staff were super friendly and kind. Would definitely go again!“
“Came here on a very cold Saturday. Had the pho with chicken and beef balls. The chicken and broth were excellent. Beef balls were a little hard and not as flavorful. The spring rolls were also pretty good.2 x large bowls of pho12 spring roles2 diet cokeTotal cost about 60 dollars. Not the best value even in today's Truflation.“
“I took my boyfriend here on the weekend and we had such a great time! He loves his pho and has tried multiple different spots and he had the best time here. The beef & chicken pho was soo good and the fresh grilled chicken spring rolls were very delicious! We also tried the mango salad which was really good. Our server Rachel greeted us in such a nice way and made us feel very comfortable and made the experience 10x better! The restaurant is also VERY clean which makes you feel cozy and nice. I also forgot my bag and Rachel came out running with it before I even noticed within seconds. I would highly recommend anyone to go here and I would also come back. Thank you so much :)“
“Customer service is always great here! It's conveniently right at the corner of Yonge and Finch. They have lots of different types of meals inspired by different Asian flavors. But you also have the option to build your own box. There's also a bubbletea spot here as well!“
“This restaurant is a gem! The food was good, and the atmosphere was amazing. Tony's warm welcome and joyful service added an extra layer of delight to our experience. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience. Can't wait to return!“
“Fresh-made food onsite.Crosiants, Apple turnovers, bread/ buns.Sandwiches made fresh from a cold table with coffee and cold drinks as well.Very polite service.Prices are reasonable.Seating is available for about 6 people.I highly recommend that you visit if you live in the neighbourhood or just passing through lots of services around this place Petro-Canada grocery store and laundry.Free parking on site, there lots of room even for my big pickup truck and trailer.“
“Excellent service staff. Their top tier foods are the beef 7 dishes or the chicken wings with fish sauce or butter sauce. These 3 dishes are the top to order and can never go wrong. I was craving for pho and ordered it usually pho comes out in 5 minutes not 30 minutes so that just means to me its not their best seller as pho usuañly comes out fast. I knew right awaybif it took long it wouldnt taste good and i was right. So i would come back here often and again for other dishes just not pho or anything soup based. It was a miss for me just on that dish. Their chicken wings is super delish and pairs well with the sticky rice. The 7 dish beef is a must to be order. The resto is always busy packed on all hours of the day which means good for them.“
“I came here because it was close to my house. My first impression of my stay was that the waitresses were super friendly!I thought the pho was not bad, the meats were a it too well-done for my liking. I wished I got it rare for it to cook in the bowl. Other than that, I did enjoy the pho!“
“Brings back old memories. I used to go to the high school right across from here. It has changed so much after more than 10 years. Anyway, I heard good things about this place from a friend of mine, and decided to give it a try as mr. Tran loves banh cuon. Inside is small, but they offer a variety of fried snacks already made like spring rolls, fried tofu, Cha lua (steamed/fried Vietnamese sausage) and steamed buns. Ordered a couple boxes of banh cuon. I believe 1 box with meat/without meat is about $10-$11 for 2lbs, which is pretty good. Got their cha lua as well. They do provide fried shallots and fish sauce with your banh cuon, but the sauce is not the greatest. I always have some ready in my fridge or I make my own concoction. First bite, super good. I try to make it at home sometimes, the filling taste great, but the flour/dough texture is not the same (maybe it's because I use a pan.. when I really need to steam it). The dough is soft and chewy, it's thin and not thick which I like. There's not a lot of meat filling, but that's okay we got the cha lua to go with it. Every time we get a craving or a potluck party, we always come here. Note - they only accept cash. If ordering a lot, call a day ahead.“
“I often visit the Scarborough restaurant but have discovered the Vaughan location. Ocean is the very kind gentleman that serves us and our service, food and experience have only been positive!!! Thank you Ocean for always going above and beyond in making your customers happy!!!“
