With plenty of food on the menu there, I ate the Phở Dặc Biệt / Special Soup as well as the gỏi cuốn and enjoyed every part of it. I felt welcomed and looked after. The prices were very affordable, and made me feel very full!“

“I decided to try a spicy bún bò instead of pho for my first time visit here, and it was the perfect choice for a warm meal after a long day of shopping. The broth was rich and flavorful, and what I really liked was how the bowl stayed hot until I finished, it made me feel even more delicious.
My friends also enjoyed the cơm tấm. The grilled meat was flavorful and well-seasoned, and the nước mắm sauce made the dish especially delicious. The portions are quite generous, one person may not be able to finish a full plate, so taking leftovers home is definitely welcome.
One downside is that the smell from inside the restaurant tends to stick to your clothes after you leave. Also, I noticed a bit of an MSG taste, which made me slightly uncomfortable since I am sensitive to it, my friends did not have any issues thought.“

“Came here with my friends for lunch and the food was amazing! Once you walk into the restaurant you can smell the nice aromatics of the pho broth. We ordered the shrimp fresh rolls which was so refreshing. We also got the chicken wings which were packed with flavour! We just tried their new summer drinks!! So good and refreshing!

Service was on point, staff was so friendly and always checked up to make sure we were doing OK.

Now for the pho broth, it was soo clean and clear. After eating it, I didn't feel thirsty compared to other pho restaurants I've been to. My friend got the Tom yum pho because the server recommended it and he was so happy with it. It had a nice sour a little bit spicy tomyum flavour to it.

Overall we had such an amazing experience! 10/10 recommended! We'll definitely be coming back!

The staff, on the other hand, were humble and friendly.

The food was alright, in my opinion, and the drinks were okay too. Pricing is on the average side. But the portion is smaller than other restaurants. Usually there was no wait time in the past. I'm fairly confident that I've tried every vegetarian pho in Toronto and Flower Lantern's is the hands-down winner - rich, flavourful broth, huge portions of noodles, and a sampler of every Asian-style mock meat they have on offer elsewhere in the menu (standouts in the soup being the faux chicken and faux bbq pork). Owner of the store was very nice and friendly lady compared with a lot of Vietnamese owner restaurant in Toronto. I got some snacks foods. So happy with foods and service. “If you want real Southern Vietnamese food, this place hits the spot. The flavors are very home-style, seasoning is bold, savory, and super comforting. I always come here whenever I’m craving a home-style Vietnamese meal. Portions are big and everything comes out hot, perfect for a proper lunch (or dinner).

I really liked the meal set for two, canh chua fish soup, braised pork, fish sauce fried chicken wings with sticky rice, and the beef salad, all tasted very authentic. “Best pho I tried in the GTA. What makes a good pho is when the broth doesn’t make you thirsty and makes you hydrated. Good price too. Highly recommend this place as I tried many different pho in the gta and it always taste too salty or have that msg taste. You know it hydrates you when they don’t use msg for the flavour. “The bakery owner's service attitude is very cheerful, cute, enthusiastic, and friendly. The bakery is a bit small, so when there are many customers, the store does not have enough room to wait, so customers have to stand out on the street, which is very inconvenient and especially in the winter, customers will get cold. The dishes, sticky rice, rolls, cakes of all kinds, fried spring rolls, etc., are quite delicious, but for the sticky rice dish, the store should cook it with coconut water and add sugar, it will definitely be more delicious. “The place is clean and very nice and inviting. And while it may not be the best Thai out there but it is tasty and there are lots of healthy options which I found to be a plus. I also liked that there was a large selection and that you can tailor the components of your entree easily. This is great because it means more choices. I found the price to be a bit higher than I would like (given the size of the entree) but it's not extremely inflated. I think it would be great if they had some good BOGO sales or special offers so that people in the area can try it out without much risk and maybe make it one of their regular stops.“
