“Had the Pho with brisket, tendon, et al. Rose had the recommended Hue style noodles. Also the salt and pepper chicken wings. Pho was excellent…its all about the broth!!! “I decided to try a spicy bún bò instead of pho for my first time visit here, and it was the perfect choice for a warm meal after a long day of shopping. The broth was rich and flavorful, and what I really liked was how the bowl stayed hot until I finished, it made me feel even more delicious.
My friends also enjoyed the cơm tấm. The grilled meat was flavorful and well-seasoned, and the nước mắm sauce made the dish especially delicious. The portions are quite generous, one person may not be able to finish a full plate, so taking leftovers home is definitely welcome.
One downside is that the smell from inside the restaurant tends to stick to your clothes after you leave. Also, I noticed a bit of an MSG taste, which made me slightly uncomfortable since I am sensitive to it, my friends did not have any issues thought.“

The staff, on the other hand, were humble and friendly.

The food was alright, in my opinion, and the drinks were okay too. Pricing is on the average side. But the portion is smaller than other restaurants. Usually there was no wait time in the past. However It has been getting busier nowadays. However, there wasn’t anything particularly special about the place. You can definitely find better restaurants out there.“

“Food is excellent, the broth is delicious with the right amount of meat and noodle ratio. Service was ok, I requested for a bigger table since my friend and I normally order a couple dishes. The smaller table would be too tight. Even though it wasn't busy, the server insisted we sit at a small table.“

“The hype is real! This super-authentic chay (vegetarian) Vietnamese restaurant is as close to the one I've eaten at in Vietnam as anything you'll find over here. I'm fairly confident that I've tried every vegetarian pho in Toronto and Flower Lantern's is the hands-down winner - rich, flavourful broth, huge portions of noodles, and a sampler of every Asian-style mock meat they have on offer elsewhere in the menu (standouts in the soup being the faux chicken and faux bbq pork). I've never had a bowl of soup that left me so content and satiated. Was impressed enough to get a banh mi to go, can't wait to have that for lunch today!“

“Best pho I tried in the GTA. What makes a good pho is when the broth doesn’t make you thirsty and makes you hydrated. Good price too. Highly recommend this place as I tried many different pho in the gta and it always taste too salty or have that msg taste. You know it hydrates you when they don’t use msg for the flavour. I always come here whenever I’m craving a home-style Vietnamese meal. Portions are big and everything comes out hot, perfect for a proper lunch (or dinner).

I really liked the meal set for two, canh chua fish soup, braised pork, fish sauce fried chicken wings with sticky rice, and the beef salad, all tasted very authentic. “I was there during afternoon busy time on a Friday. It's was very busy but the lady behind the counter was in control and served me with good attentiveness. The food was delicious(green curry chicken) and the process is the same as all around. I would recommend them.“

“The bakery owner's service attitude is very cheerful, cute, enthusiastic, and friendly. The bakery is a bit small, so when there are many customers, the store does not have enough room to wait, so customers have to stand out on the street, which is very inconvenient and especially in the winter, customers will get cold. The dishes, sticky rice, rolls, cakes of all kinds, fried spring rolls, etc., are quite delicious, but for the sticky rice dish, the store should cook it with coconut water and add sugar, it will definitely be more delicious. First time coming to this place with family, and I loved and appreciate the simplicity and kind service the owners offered. With plenty of food on the menu there, I ate the Phở Dặc Biệt / Special Soup as well as the gỏi cuốn and enjoyed every part of it. I felt welcomed and looked after. The prices were very affordable, and made me feel very full!“

we tried the laksa soup and it was also yummy - and turns out they can change any of the pho options to laksa base
