“If you want real Southern Vietnamese food, this place hits the spot. The flavors are very home-style, seasoning is bold, savory, and super comforting. I always come here whenever I’m craving a home-style Vietnamese meal. Portions are big and everything comes out hot, perfect for a proper lunch (or dinner).

I really liked the meal set for two, canh chua fish soup, braised pork, fish sauce fried chicken wings with sticky rice, and the beef salad, all tasted very authentic. “The bakery owner's service attitude is very cheerful, cute, enthusiastic, and friendly. The bakery is a bit small, so when there are many customers, the store does not have enough room to wait, so customers have to stand out on the street, which is very inconvenient and especially in the winter, customers will get cold. The dishes, sticky rice, rolls, cakes of all kinds, fried spring rolls, etc., are quite delicious, but for the sticky rice dish, the store should cook it with coconut water and add sugar, it will definitely be more delicious. “I com here often for the classic banh mi with pork floss, and it never disappoints. It's my go to banh mi spot in Toronto.

What really makes this place stand out, is the people. I lost my wallet here a few days ago, and the staff were incredibly kind and honest. They kept it safe for me and returned it with everything inside. That level of integrity is rare and speaks volumes about the people who work here.

“I lived in Toronto for 5 years, ate at many places including Vietnamese and Thai restaurants. This place IS.... THE.... BEST... food around. Since moving to Windsor Essex Area, I stop at this place ever time we go North through Toronto. The prices are always fair, and the family run atmosphere is a welcoming touch. You guys rock, I hope you guys stay around for decades to come.“

“Cozy and quaint little spot that remains a time capsule. It’s one of the few spots that has avoided the plague of be urbanization. Great Vietnamese iced coffee and decent sized bahn mi. They have seating and two CRT TV’s that feature some kind of card game wagering. They also have prepared deli items, desserts and dried meat snacks. Plus other Vietnamese fare. Definitely worth a visit. And one more thing, they also feature multiple small green stools outside the establishment for that authentic Vietnam street experience.“
