“We recently visited Kourosh Bakery and Sandwiches and had such a great experience. We ordered the grilled chicken salad 7.99$ plus 5.99$ 🥗, a steak & cheese sandwich 17.99$ 🥪, and also a doner plate 18.99 $🥙, and everything was honestly excellent and good price compared to quality. The first thing I noticed was how fresh everything tasted—the vegetables in the salad were crisp and fresh, the grilled chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the portion sizes were very generous.

The steak and cheese sandwich was just as impressive. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the bread tasted fresh and soft, which made a huge difference. The doner plate was also amazing, with flavorful meat, fresh toppings, and great seasoning that reminded me of authentic Persian-style food.

You can really tell they care about the quality of their ingredients and don’t cut corners. Everything felt homemade and prepared with attention to detail.

What I also really appreciated is that Kourosh Bakery feels like a true local business—warm, welcoming, and authentic. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and attentive, making the whole experience even better.

It’s always nice to support a local business that clearly takes pride in what they do. Between the fresh ingredients, delicious food, and excellent customer service, this place definitely earned a repeat customer. I’ll absolutely be back to try more from their menu!

“My favourite Subway location is the one at Rimrock Plaza, mainly because of Sneha. I was so happy to see her working at this branch again. She always gives such great customer service and makes my sandwich perfectly every single time.

I’ve had sandwiches made by Sneha before, and they always taste so good. You can really tell she knows what she’s doing — the way she prepares everything is neat, professional, and with no spills or waste. It honestly makes a big difference. I wish everyone made sandwiches the way Sneha does!“

“Honestly, no sandwich place even comes close to Firehouse Subs. You have to try the Sweet & Spicy Meatball sub — it might just change your life. The only downside is that they’re a bit slow, and it takes a while to get your order. But trust me, it’s worth every second of the wait.“

The staff was friendly and quick, and my sandwich was made just right. Absolutely loved this bánh mì spot. I added extra chà bông for $0.50 and extra meat for $1.50, and it was 100% worth it. The banh mi came out so full and generously packed, just how I like it. Every bite felt satisfying and well balanced.

The owner is an older gentleman, so it took a little longer to prepare, but honestly I didn’t mind at all. You can tell he puts care into what he’s making. If you’re planning to visit, just be a bit patient, it’s worth the wait.

Also tried the fried banana and it was fresh, warm, and sooo good.

“So apparently they moved from their Jane St location (now replaced with Banh Mi & Cafe VN) to Weston Rd. Unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to visit their new location on my recent trip from California but noticed they sell their banh mi combos premade at Kien Hung Supermarket at Jane and Finch. I picked up a couple sandwiches at $5.99 each and brought it home and air fried it the next day. Even though it was not freshly made, it still was one of the best banh mi combos I’ve had. Just watch out for the hot chili peppers.“

“Love this place. The truck from the Spadina location delivers a bunch of great stuff wrapped in cellophane around 11am. My favourite rolls are the veggie ones with mushrooms tofu cilantro and carrots and now they are wrapping them individually which prevents the rice paper from sticking to each other.“

“Victim of shrinkflation. They seem to really hate cheese. The cheese bread in the picture is *coated* with melted cheddar cheese, but the real thing is just a couple of dribbles. Not enough to even bother, 'cos you simply won't taste it anyway. Pathetic. Also, if you order the Korean Kickin' Chicken, it costs an extra $1.50 to get as much cheese as in the image of the sub, because they only put these tiny paper-thin strips on that are nowhere near as long or wide as the image suggests. It literally has no relation to the images in their ads. Why hate cheese so much? I love everything else about the place, including the service, but cheese is a huge disappointment in every way.“
