“I recently ordered from this branch and honestly, it was a pretty solid experience overall. A Footlong Steak & Cheese on Italian Herbs & Cheese, toasted, with all the veggies and honey mustard and garlic aoili sauce. The bread came out warm and soft, and the steak was actually well-portioned. The veggies were fresh and crisp, especially the lettuce and tomatoes, which made the sandwich taste clean and balanced.

What really stood out though was the service. The employee who helped me, Jaime, was friendly right from the start. He greeted me properly, didn’t rush the order even though there were a few people behind me, and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. He even suggested to lightly toast it a bit longer for better texture, and he was right, it made a difference.

Nowadays this price can only buy a cup of coffee in Toronto 😅😅 A bagel alone like that would cost at least 12 CAD!!!! **Update** - The owner reached out to me afterwards and asked me to contact him. He apologized for my experience (with finding the hair) and stated that he would take the necessary steps to make sure it didn't happen again. He actually went above and beyond and surprisingly gave me a refund for one of my sandwiches as well as a store credit. Despite the experience this time I'd happily return to Ariete e Toro for those delicious sandwiches (honestly one of the best I've had in the city!). Customer service has been great as well. Can't wait till their second location opens soon!“
