Every other subway has artist, and they barely speak to you, however this environment was very welcoming.“

Next time we will.) was so nice, patient, and organized despite being overwhelmed with orders and being the only one on staff. This location is lucky to have her on staff! “Tried Grandma Loves You recently and really enjoyed it. I had the meatball & cheese and the chef’s choice. Both were good, but the standout was definitely the chef’s choice. It was super flavourful and every bite hit, no matter where you bit into it.

The meatball was solid too, with a very generous portion. But because the meatballs are quite large, they tend to slide around a bit. Some bites made it a little hard to get a good mix of the meat and veg all together. Still really tasty overall, just something to keep in mind and maybe grab extra napkins.

Also grabbed a coffee. Nothing special, but it did the job, …..which is fair for a sandwich shop. Went on a Wednesday afternoon so it was pretty quiet, and the service was friendly. There’s limited seating, and they also had complimentary lemon water which was a nice touch.

We ordered, grilled pork and satay chicken. Both were great and definitely satisfied the cravings. The grilled pork is a kind of sausage, it’s a little sweet and gives filipino longanisa vibes if you’ve had that, but it creates a perfect balance with the fresh veggies. The satay chicken, had a nice level of spice and it also went well with the fresh veggies!

“Love this place. The truck from the Spadina location delivers a bunch of great stuff wrapped in cellophane around 11am. My favourite rolls are the veggie ones with mushrooms tofu cilantro and carrots and now they are wrapping them individually which prevents the rice paper from sticking to each other.“
